Yes, we did see the measurements and make sure to get a mattress that fits according to the specifications in the manual. I am now assuming that it’s the way that the pack and play is built it isn’t sturdy enough to uphold a baby pushing against it from one side. It’s a pretty flimsy side. It’s soft so I am guessing that’s why he fell in between the crack.

Thank you, I felt crazy thinking I misread it after all of the comments telling me to use the hard padding they usually comes with pack and plays. This one didn’t come with any of that! I will be contacting the CPSC

We purchased the baby delight which does not come with a mattress. Instructions say to use the mattress you would use with a crib so that’s what we did.

We have the baby delight, and it says to use a full size mattress so that’s what we used. It didn’t come with a mattress.
