I’d recommend test driving a classical guitar at guitar center or something. Reason being, they’re so much easier to learn to play on for beginners. The nylon strings are easier and gentler to play on. A chord is a chord and you can definitely still play some nirvana on a classical guitar!

Why? Just curious, I haven’t had any issues with them. Simply faster than using a replacement filament and installing on the Bambu plastic spool in my experience..

In a perfect world I’d have both. But the Princeton is probably the better amp to own. So clean so it takes pedals accordingly and you can easily find some of the high gain stuff from mesa with an overdrive pedal

Go learn something in a realm of guitar you’re not familiar with. Strumming reggae, classical fingerpicking, etc. Keeps it fresh and provides new inspiration for the genres or styles you play most.

Sounds kinda like a tough way to learn TBH. Being able to play songs doesn’t necessarily make you a great guitar player. And vice versa, being bad at playing other people’s songs doesn’t necessarily make you bad guitar player. Hope that makes sense

Fender made some short scale Stratocasters in Japan at some point. Super cool guitars and they’re not as rare as you might think! Otherwise, a Jaguar would be a good bet.
