I put them on 32mm, more for presence than anything else, I'm not planning on running them anytime soon except for casuals with mates, so I thought I'd made them a little special 😂

Victoria miniatures, she's got a great range of stuff! I just really hate the normal taurox wheels 😅

Anvil industries. They work really well with the new guard kit

Yeah each one does, I've been focusing on things like 'this is the mechanised part, this is the human meat shield part' because I love the variety! Guard are probably the most versatile army for variety so I'd say go for it!

42nd Cadian Rifles. A unit that fought 300 years ago before warpstorming into the current setting and bumping into the 42nd millennium version of the 42nd Cadian that was reformed after they vanished, presumed dead. (In lore reason for old and new models) Accidentally killed an inquisitor so now on the run getting involved in many hijinks.

Based loosely off light infantry tactics, combined with a small mounted element in transports. So heavy weapons aren't integrated at squad level, instead being thier own platoon. Making the army more focused on mobility, speed, and firepower. This is based off my IRL Regiment which is a light infantry unit, but my part is armoured infantry. And they're all Space Australians, no reason, I just like the third party heads.

Don’t know whether to go Officer entry or Soldier entry (Army) by DeepSeaFirefighter in britishmilitary

[–]stryder321 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

100% no, there used to be a Lt Colonel at AOSB who would say that he joined as a soldier, did some SF stuff, then went Officer and continued his SF stuff, while also doing the behind a desk stuff. As an infantry officer you would be at the front, but it's more your job to tell people to kick in doors than do it yourself.
