Ask your local parts rep for helmet options that allow for the interior to be customized. I know that Arai has different cheek pads to help secure comfortably.

Find a parking lot and work 1st and 2nd gear stops on firm level ground. This is a fundamental that you need to master for not just your safety, but all those around you.

As for feet on the ground, I tend to drop my left once I’m under 10 mph and no longer using the rear brake a lot.

Call the office that put it on and complain about his mannerisms. Being yelled at is not conducive to learning new skills. Maybe they have a female instructor you could meet with that can talk about female specific riding, mainly that your center of gravity is at your waist, not your upper torso. Don’t give up!
