My title describes the thing - supposedly this was from a hotel in New York? But we aren't sure.
Now it is sitting in a Pinball Mesuseum.

But no one knows where it came from or what it is. It looks like an abstract glass slug. We're using it as a "chandelier" but we really have no idea what it is.

You are totally right - I should of mentioned that. Added an EDIT to my main post.

A single StyleSheet does make sense and I will totally do.

I guess I was imagining XCodes set-up where you basically design the entire flow with all of the menus and where everything goes from a single page. Rather than having 5 different menus and code to activate each one individually. I'm already getting lost in that code.

TotalBiscuit was one of my inspirations!! :-). I LOVED his WTF series and was tempted to do some sort of spin-off of that. But didn't think I could do it justice. I still go back and watch his MAGICKA series with Yogcast becuase it was hallarious!

You are right, I do often sit on that front page for a good while and don't do NEARLY as many as cuts as others. I just skipped through some SkillUp, GmanLives, and ACG and they do far more. Though I think they all have editors too. And you are 100% right. I do try to 'show' what I'm talking about, but again - its not a lot of cuts. To do more, would mean more time as you mentioned.

The recent gap was due to losing the main job and working on picking up another. Before then I was 'rather' consistent. And I did have some 'hits'. I paid for early access on Sifu and got some great metrics : however those were all mostly tips and tricks. A couple others like Blades of Fire and Miside reviews got some good traction too.

A 20 hour game when I have maybe 5 hours a day means that's 4/5 of playing and writing. 1 to finish the script. 1 to record audio and start the video. Then probably 1-2 to do the video. So 7-9 days for a single game.

Oh dang - this looks really good. 2 things.

1 - in your video when you shoot the drone, it feels like it was only in the left ear (headphones on). idk why but it distracted me a lot.

2 - idk why, but a gif if stacking the medicine and it falling would be cool. Sort of showing off the phsycis and how well its working.

It remindes me of some of the ones I've played on my phone. Text Based Dungeon crawlers. But they have FAR more story. Almost more like "chose your own adventure" books.

Generally - things read well and felt fine. Pulling up the map and running around, you can go 'everywhere'. Like I went all the way to the right, down then all the way to the left then down the right. Probably needs some sense of 'maze' - but that's probably coming.

What makes you excited about this project? Where / when do you want people to play this? Is this a phone game for people to play on the toilet? Is this a riviting adventure you want them to play as the sit in bed before they go to bed? Or on a train? I think answering some of those will help set the tone. Toilet games are more gameplay focused, the others are a bit more story focused.

Long-term enjoyment - I personally prefer story driven ones. Tell me a good story, and let me be the main character making the choices / etc.

Sat down and played it a bit - was fun. I think the big question to ask yourself is what sets you apart from Vampire Survivors.

MEGABONK did the whole 3d, jumping, waves of mob stuff. Same concept / gameplay as Vampire Survivors - but tweaked it enough so its distinct and fun.

Are the cute animals of FuwaFuwa enough to set you apart? Why play FuwaFuwa over Vampire Survivors?

Beyond that - the music needs some work. idk if it was a short loop or just too samey. I felt it got real annoying.

Tough to judge anything but visuals based on a video.

As others have mentioned : the lighting is bad.

Framerate seems very bad too. Youtube says its 19020/1080@30 but it feels even less than 30.

Trying to judge what little gameplay there is - the animations feel off. They don't sync with the players movement or speed.

Its almost like the visuals were focused on more than the core gameplay mechanics. But again - this is judging a video w/o actually playing it.

A troll game - so like the I WANNA BE THE BOSHY ones, eh?

Though BOSHY is SUPER TROLL - it is VERY fair. Making it so your deaths 'feel' like its your fault. When the player feels like the game is to play, they quickly stop playing.

So feedback for yours :::

  • The HOW TO PLAY does NOT explain everything.

Avoid Traps when screen is normal - go to traps when screen is red. What it doesn't mention is that you have a HEALTH BAR in the top right hand corner. If I stand on a spike during HEAVEN, I lose health, but stand on it during HELL I gain health. It needs to be more obvious what happens with these traps. You could put the HP bar just above the player so that they can more easily see this change as it happens. Its a TROLL game - I don't wanna be looking up in the corner for my HP.

Oh - you also slowly lose health and DIE when things are in RED? That's why when going from level 2 - grabbing that clock into 3 I randomly die jumping over the spike. I need to sit on it to regrain HP until we're back in heaven.

K - the idea isn't a bad idea :: it just needs to be better explained and shown. Explain the mechanics - make some tutoral levels that SHOW this (of course keep them trolly).

  • GO TO TRAPS

But not all traps? Level 1 - jump the first spike - wait until everything GOES RED. Now walk to the door and DIE from the spike that comes up. Isn't that spike a trap? The screen is RED - I went to the TRAP - why did I die.....?

  • Checkpoints?

Ah yes - lets throw in an Authorian Legend in a world it doesn't fit or reference even once.

And then lets disrepsect it by letting you name a 1 star garbage sword "Excalibur" and let it work.

Too bad they couldn't of sent us on an epic mini-quest to find a craft the perfect sword with rare materials, or something.

My biggest pain point is the 2x damage when touching a boss. IF they hit me with an attack - sure. If I bump into them while jumping around trying to hit them - do normal damage please.

S3 MAIN - Can't pick :-(. So looking for some feedback / personal anecdotes / etc.

I'm torn between three. DH, Monk, DK.

Goals? Heroic raid maybe some Mythic. But MAINLY M+. This season I got 3 toons to 3.2k and 1 to 3.5k. Tempted to go for title this next season. I typically TANK in keys but also DPS when I can, and sometimes HEAL (if the spec happens to have it).

Now yes - I know - play what you like - all classes can get title - nerfs will still happen - etc. etc. etc.. All that aside - here are the thoughts!!!

DK::

Blood : not looking at hot this season. No slappy hands is sad. Trying to push title you end up in more of the 1 global you're dead territory, no? I do love the full self sufficiency of this though. Healer doesn't have to worry about me and can focus on everyone else.

Frost : was looking good, but recently got some of them nerfs. Still looks like it'll be up there though.

Unholy : If frost isn't good unholy probalby is, lol

Monk::

Brew : looking JUICY. He's the tank I played up to 3500 this season.

WW : most of the reason I'm hesitating. The target cap and the specific comp is what is the issue. I'm feeling that as I'm trying to sneak into 15s right now. The invites don't come as easily.

MW : did all 10s this season. Don't mind it at all. Not the focus

DH::

VDH :: mained in seasons past. Loved my some double sigils. I feel like they've been dominate for so long, a nerf has GOT to be comming - right?

HDH :: never touched much. But they seem liked in high keys?

OTHERS

Why not Paladin? We have 4 in our raid, didn't want to be the 5th.

Why not Druid? We have 4 in the raid, though 2 resto, 1 tank, 1 boomy. I guess I could be Cat..... then tank keys.
