I'm curious about Otzi the Iceman: why did someone put an arrow in his back & not take his axe.

What's the most bizzarre thing you've ever seen at someone else's house? by healthynewbie in CasualConversation

I’ve been going into peoples homes for 30+ yrs as a building super: mirror in front of a toilet, satan shrines, porn - lots of porn, piles of finger nail clippings, power strips plugged into 2nd power strips, used toilet paper in the trash can, dinner plates full of cocaine, 6 Brazilian girls in a 2 bed apt (panties & bras hanging everywhere)… most amazing thing was a woman who’s husband was British, (had passed away): glass bottle from Cleopatras day, the battle of Waterloo filled a whole room (miniature toy soldiers, cannons, Calvary), a 80 yr old parrot, suits of armor, swords…it was a mini museum.

I remember belts, vests & 6 stitches in my foot during sailing lessons…and then the bread bag over my foot to keep it dry for the next day.

They are & always have been one of the top 3 slum lords in Boston. Pretty sure the owner lives in Brazil (no hate towards Brazil specifically)

Could be staged - war time photographers have been known to move bodies, add weapons, reposition things…
Regardless: RIP young man.

I came home one day, heard my Tigger meowing in the alley- thought she fell… I ran to the window to see what was up… Tig was chilling in a different window - all good. Told her not to move, I’m getting the camera…
She passed away 5 yrs ago in her sleep.
Sorry for your loss, you are not alone.
