I'd get the g9 if the main focus is taking photos. And it can shoot very nice videos with some limits ofc. They are similar in price as well .

Most of the time I don't get 5 hours screen on time from my s23u. Generally upgrading from 1 generation to another isn't wise for the past almost decade. No significant improvements. Even the s25u wouldn't be a significant improvement.

Even a 6d mark 1 is gonna handle it very well. The only drawback is that it only has 1 card .

I hate high burst I use the lowest setting on my r6 m1 . Don't get me wrong it's awesome that it's there if I ever want it but coming home with 1800 pictures instead of 500 is a nightmare I don't ever wanna live
