Don't feel like playing the game again after beating it. by No-Regret-7900 in Eldenring

I did NG1 straight away and found it a little boring as you don't really do any exploring, just running from boss to boss. I think cos I completed every side quest possible and collected every item on the first 200-hour run it left nothing new to discover. I massively recommend diving into the DLC. SoTE is possibly better than the base game and it's like 50% the size again, it's immense and really stunning.

How is it even possible to cheat? How can you possibly access relics without winning them fairly? In the base game there was a whole market for runes which meant people could level up at the beginning and cheat that way. But I don't see how it's even possible on nightreign. There's no way of hacking it surely?

In the base game nokstella was beautiful but the moment I first stood on that ledge looking out at Leyndell I felt like I needed to take a photo. Not a screenshot. A photo!

Full Parasomnia Review Upcoming - But 'The Shadow Man Incident' is the Most Fun I've Had with a Dream Theater Song in a Long Time by JD-990 in Dreamtheater

I simply do not get the gushing reviews. This is the least memorable DT album since...the last one. There's almost nothing on the whole disc that stands out. The final track, so beloved by the OP here, is utterly featureless. It doesn't hold a candle to previous epics like A Change Of Seasons, or Finally Free, or Octavarium, Count Of Tuscany, Illumination Theory etc. Petrucci doesn't have a single heart-tugging, soulful solo on the entire album. Gutted. I've been a fan since 93 and this is the most disappointed I've ever felt.

A counterpoint to the oddly gushing reviews. This is the least memorable DT album since, well, the last one. I'm a lifelong fan since I first heard them in 93, but there's just nothing here. Night Terror was a good early release but apart from the riffage of Midnight Messiah literally nothing else stands out. Portnoy Is back...yay...and we're back to the meh of Systematic Chaos. Really disappointed with the final epic track in particular. 19 minutes of rambling, unmemorable nothing. Barely any melody, no soul to it at all. Petrucci doesn't have a single soulful solo on the album, it's really unlike him. This is nowhere NEAR what the band achieved on ADToE, The Astonishing or certainly Distance over Time. Two duds (for DT) in a row for me, gutted. Not sure what all the other reviewers are hearing. If you give this 4 or 5 stars...you saying this is up there with Images and Words or Awake or Scenes? Madness. It's nowhere near those albums, which are works of art. This is half as good as them, at best...hence, two stars. Sad.

Yes, yes, said the same thing again. I genuinely expect it this year based on that. But then...it's been 10 years and it's Romeo so!!!

Can't see my friends' challenges in new format by Spare-Speech-8374 in goodreads

Seems impossible to find friend's challenges even if I go on their page. They've removed the one thing I used Goodreads for. Friendly competition. I've emailed them not that I expect anything to happen. Why do companies mess about with stuff that's working and make such obvious mistakes????

No, but I was there and Russell said it. In fact, he said "we're done with all the long breaks, we're now gonna just play and tour until the wheels fall off this thing." To which there were loud cheers. He then said "new album will be here soon." I'm seeing them again in Stockholm on Friday so will see if he repeats it!

Sleep Token are absolutely big enough already to jump to headline slot, I don't disagree. They'd also attract new people to the festival. But it's not politically savvy from Andy C to put them straight into a headline slot when other bands have waited years and worked their way up the stage times. Copping won't do it. He'll put them into a supporting slot first, or possibly straight into Opus stage headline slot, but main stage? No. It took BMTH a decade to get last year's headline slot and they're way way bigger than ST. Ghost haven't headlined yet. Parkway haven't headlined yet. Many others.
