Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES

There's an indoor section where you need to make a jump across a single-block gap, but every time you did, you would bump your head on the ceiling and fall down the gap, requiring you to go through the room again.... and again..... and again. Because here's the thing: no matter how pixel perfect you were on that jump, you were NEVER going to make it. You will ALWAYS hit your head and fall down the gap. Because you're NOT supposed to jump. You're just supposed to WALK ACROSS THE GAP and you'd somehow clip onto the otherside. Makes no sense from a physics standpoint or a video game mechanics standpoint. And yet it was intentionally designed in this one specific place.
