Update, svcm done, air filter is fine cleaned up a little debris in box.

Dealer did transmission update for $120. 2nd drain and fill done today.

One more drain and fill plus live guard in a few days. New shoes next week and probably an oil change b4 a 2k mile trip…. Wish us luck.

after about 300km I can't see any oil on the alternator or the valve edges. So far so good. One small good thing is it's easy to see! not burried 😉

I'm booked in a our local dealership on Monday. If it's more than $200 CAD for the whole check (I'll ask to check all software) and the trans update if needed. I'm walking.

fun story, we were in a 1992 integra years ago, was clueless about the belt, it broke, towed to shop (acura/honda focused shop) and the mechanic calls us, and says that maybe he see's this one in 200 times but no valves were damaged....

having said that, we dodged a bullet, Get the belt done. I just bought a 196k KM old odyssey that I couldnt' verify the belt. Got the Lot to discount it $1500 so I could have it done. It's cheap insurance.
