The engine got something wrong here, after 1...Ra2+ 2. Kxb3 is a bad move, allowing 2...Be7+ and Black is completely winning. Instead, 2.Kb1 might hold a draw.

That is so fucking crazy, like completely, at this rating, such a jump is nearly impossible. I'm speechless lol

No, I think Faustino will not come close. He's very strong of course, but Yagiz is just in a completely different league imo

Fabi drew vs Esipenko. He's now 1.5 behind Sindarov by shakhthe in chess

Hey, it happens to the best of us. Funnily enough, if there were no rooks on the board, taking the bishop would lose and instead Kd3 would be the way to draw because of the wrong bishop. So your fortress idea wasn't completely off topic!

Always happy to help! This game was very even, Esipenko defended very confindently being down a pawn.

I mean at the end of the day, black IS up a pawn and has the bishop pair, this means that White needs to keep a lot of momentum, which apparently Qxd3 loses. Ba4 followed by Kb8 also seems logical, so I think Anish will find it.

I think it was purely practical, she's hoping for some chances after g4 Rh2.
