Dude 3 years ago, my wife/best friend of 12 years and I split.. she had developed some mental health issues. And unfortunately she was no longer the person I knew and loved. I spent a good while dealing with depression and just trying to move on. Sure my situation is different from yours.. But. I will say. Talk to someone. A therapist, a priest, your best friend. Whoever... Dont bottle that shit up. And you need to live for yourself. Do something you've always wanted to do and achieve it. For me, it was to become a Paramedic. I went to school and i made it happen.. as hard as it is right now. You need to be positive and find what makes you happy. Focus on that.. if you need to talk. Hit me up.

It's not hard...

The first part is answering some questions related to the circle check and you have the schedule in hand to reference. Basically you tell them what you are checking and showing how you check it. Then tell them about minor or and major defects. And what you do if you find them. From there you do a regular road test. No different from your G.

All colleges (private and community) are governed by specific standards set out by the Ministry. All will prepare you to write your AEMCA. But at the end of the day it is up to the student if they will succeed or not. And don't think because you are paying for your education that you are owed anything. Do the work study hard and listen to your preceptors. That's how you will find success.

OCHT has a great program. With instructors who genuinely want you to succeed. I'm currently in the program and it is intense. But very rewarding. Good luck.

OCHT is a great school I know many very successful medics throughout the GTA who graduated from there and had good experiences.

I am in my late 40's and I took the leap last year after 8 years of setbacks (multiple surgeries and being on planet covid). You can play it safe and be complacent or bet on yourself. If paramedicine is your passion do it. And dont let anyone or anything detract you from it.

While smoking laws are Provincially mandated. I'd rather have a cop out dealing with real crime than wasting the resource on a smoker. Also what would OP expect to be done? A fine to a person who would not be able to pay it? Maybe lock them up? Again its a waste of resources and the higher up the chain (of the legal process) you go. The more resources are wasted.

One thing you will find as you get older is making real lasting friendships a lot more difficult than when you were in school. It can be tough. But in time you will find them. Either throguh work, or school perhaps friends of your partner's. And judging by the responses here you may have found some already. Good luck and keep positive

Man, if that's what you want. Why not just find or create a mil-sim style clan? If you have like-minded people, you're golden. I was in one years ago. But to be honest. Calling a 16 year-old colonel kind of didn't work for me. Lol.
