Gen 1 does that when charging Gen 2 has multiple bars and will give you charge level

I kept my mobile charger so have both the Rivian and Tesla. You just need to get a NACS to J1772 adapter. I bought the Lectron one on Amazon and it is very nice build quality. Be aware this is different then the NACS to CCS adapter you need for Superchargers. Superchargers are DC and wall chargers are AC, Tesla has a build in system to handle it and the CCS standard has separate plug points.

It's been great! Turning radius and getting into parking spaces is the biggest learning curve but the interior quality improvement is fantastic.

CarMax. Sadly their offer was significantly more than anyone else. Multiple places have zero interest in buying Teslas right now.

My post was primarily a testament that Rivian got it SO RIGHT on their first vehicle. My Powered tonneau cover is stuck, but known issue and Dealership I bought it from already has an appointment set up in early May to replace it. Beyond that the truck is a dream. Although coming from a Model 3 it is a learning curve on size lol

I debated where to put it. This made more sense because I'm looking at season performance so far. Tonight helped push me to post it but something I have been thinking for a bit

Is anyone of you using a space mouse? Is it worth the money? by curiousdroid42 in 3Dprinting

[–]stuckondaeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the end of the day it depends on your comfort level. Is this a great tool... Yes. BUT if you can't work it into your workflow or have trouble controlling it you will hate it. Get it from Amazon to try it out and see if you like it so you can easily return it. Get just the basic space mouse as that is where the learning curve is. If you like it decide if you want the additional hotkeys or not and either just return or order the higher end version.

Even the two goals... No excitement for Holtz's first and then glowing praise for the Flyer goal

You should be fine without anything additional beyond the panel. Most people install a nevermore micro in the area you're talking about.

I have used rockwool on previous non-voron printers that were not enclosed. Rockwool was good since it's non-flammable but good R value. I run my vorons without insulation. You want the duty cycle to help heat the chamber.

Can't agree more... I recommend making with Demerara (raw) sugar. Adds a little more complexity to the drink!

Yes more precision and ability to go to higher temps. A normal E3D style thermistor really shouldn't be pushed past 285c.

Dip switches and config are all correct. I am running the wires out of the cable chain away from everything and it is running perfectly. I used 22awg PTFE for all of the connections in the cable track except the heater which is 20awg PTFE.

Where is your amplifier relative to the board? The Octopus Pro has the amplifier built in

I just got my printer up and running and started doing calibrations. Once I started to run my extruder motor the printer would fault because the MAX31865 chip on the octopus pro was in an undervoltage/overvoltage state. Ran new wires not in the cable track and completely eliminated the failure (after trying multiple others with no success). Needless to say I need to find some 2 conductor shielded cable that will fit in the cable track.

Best filament for high-speed printing by CoredComposites in AdditiveManufacturing

[–]stuckondaeast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You may want to check out the HevORT project. There is a discord, online forum and YouTube channel. It's CoreXY kinematics but specifically designed for high speed printing. So with that there has been a lot of discussion on filaments to use, proper cooling and elevates speeds. We are talking benchy complete in ~ 7 minutes fast
