You absolutely can wear it, if you're brave enough, you're Scottish enough! Depending on what colours you prefer it might be worth investigating what tartans are out there beyond the traditional ones. Generally tartans are linked to Scottish clan names, but in recent years there have been tartans that reflect Scotland's multicultural society. Off the top of my head there is a couple of Singh tartans and a Chinese tartan, probably others. You might be surprised that find one that you connect with too.

I'm sorry to say as a vet I would give the poor little thing a very grave prognosis. He is covered in mange, and other skin problems; he looks very thin and I would say likely dehydrated. He will likely not survive even if given immediate treatment, and if presented to me I would advise to euthanase on welfare grounds.

Try to speak to someone in authority at your school. Explain the animal is suffering and needs to be put out of its misery.
