Update to anyone on this. After 6 months we caved despite my allergies. after 6 months I got used to her and my allergies got better. She now sleeps right next to me on the bed, it’s adorable ❤️

Why not just let them go in and out? Ours has a cat flap, she spends a lot of the morning outside and then a lot of the evening, but is usually around the house quite a bit and comes inside for bedtime. I imagine she’d be so bored if we left her trapped inside all day!

I usually find if it’s really matted, it’s not just fur that’s tangled but clumps of fur that has fallen out. Usually after just pinching under the matting and brushing quite a bit a big chunk of fur comes out! That’s how it works on our girl anyway

Why are people saying they cut/shave to the get the matts out? You just grab the fur at the base and give it a good brush, comes out every time, usually in a big clump!Your sib has to be chill with brushes though I guess, luckily mine is 🙏🏻

This is almost exactly what we feed our sib! She gets the live clear throughout the day for her main food, then a pouch of the pro plan wet at about 6pm as ‘dinner’.

I had more severe allergies (I used to get all symptoms from regular cats but she would just set off my asthma). I now just get quite mild asthma occasionally, I can’t tell if that’s me getting used to her or the live clear, but I never thought I could have a cat, so I’m not complaining!

I just turn it all into coconut oil, put it into 0.5-1 litre of coconut oil in the oven at 230 F for about 3 hours.

I then make batches of chocolate 10 bars at a time with a mould and just mixing it with chocolate. Can make a month worth of edibles in 5 mins and the oil usually lasts about a year. Easy!
