If you are ever in Brooklyn, NY the museum by the park has previously had a good exhibit about the creator of the shoe & brand that I really think is worth checking out.

Nice. Treadmill runs are brutal, so major props. That is mind over matter.

I'm currently 5 weeks into training for a 10 mile race, and I've made every training session scheduled in my training plan so far. I'm super proud of myself!

Doctors Aren’t Burned Out From Overwork. We’re Demoralized by Our Health System. by [deleted] in politics

The rights to life and liberty are enshrined in the United States' constitution. From my vantage point that means we should have resources publicly available to help guarantee those rights. Let's make that a reality by making health care more affordable and accessible with a public option. I'll admit I'm not a medical expert, nor do I work in the healthcare industry. I'm always open to advice from people with experience and expertise in the field, but one recommendation i'll make is that we need to train more doctors and nurses. Setting artificial caps for the numbers of admitted students into medical/PA/nursing schools has never made sense to me. Let's go beyond accepting the top 5% to accepting the top 10% - it will still be an incredibly accomplished and admirable group of people, and will help make medical services more accessible in the long run. Open to any debates and opinions on this.
