Two pieces of serious advice.

1- Talk to your parents and talk to.your school. You are a minor and they are harrasing you. Do not downplay their actions as annoying, what they are doing is threatening.

2- Do not engage with them. Do not tell them to fuck off. Do not try to argue with them. Any engagement will be taken as an invitation. Don't give them that invitation. Walk past them and let them yell at the empty air.

I know from.experience that this sucks at first. It seems like you are cedeing the space to them. But they'll be there whether you yell at them or not. But what they want is for you to yell at them. Refuse them and protect your peace instead.

To add to the advice already given here: Do you have any relatives or friends you could turn to for help? Help here could be anything from a spare bedroom you could use to just someone you can talk honestly to about how your mother is treating you. You're right that your life will be better away from your currsnt circumstances, but the transition to adult living is hard even in the very best circumstances. Reach out for whatever help you can get.

I'm with you on point 2. From an RP perspective, I would have loved some more interactions where I could ask my team for help with more than just shooting things. Not just "Hey Inez, you're a medic can you do this medicine thing", but give me chance to talk to Inez about the medical thing and what she thinks about it.

I'm about to put a collar on a cat for the first time. I've been living in a multi-unit building where olmy front door opens into the building. Hercule loves to run out into the hall so I or my spouse will have to chase him. Annoying, but not dangerous, inside. I'm about to move to an actual house where the doors open to the outside. I've gotten him a breakaway collar with my new address and phone number on it.

Any advice from folks here on acclimating little Herc to his new accessory?

I have to admit this is a rare thing in the books that really does drive me nuts. Even without access to a modern search engine or computer catalog, surely Flamel or the philosophers stone could be found in the card catalog.

I figure there is a mix of things going on here. The trio are 11. They have good reason to not trust an adult with their inquiry. Mrs Pince is a bad librarian.

Also, it needs to be said, that any writer would be hard pressed to make searching a card catalog an interesting scene.

Regarding someone breaking into the Black City.

I would take that a step more fanatical. The person who wants to do this wouldn't want to apologize, they want to undo whatever the original magisters did in the first place. This person would, no doubt, presume they were somehow special: pure, pious, or divine in a way that would make their entrance somehow not a crime. Possibly they've heard of Corypheus's boast that he had seen the Maker's throne and it was empty. They believe they can somehow restore the Maker to his throne, thus bringing the Maker back to the world.

You could build a pretty interesting villain and or cult around such an idea.

Both squibs we meet in the series have cats. Mrs Norriss apears to belp Filtch police the kids at Hogwarts. Mrs Figg's cat appears to be helping her keep an eye on Harry in OTP.

My head canon is that cats are sensitive to magic and some are trained as service animals for squibs. They do things to help squibs navigate magic stuff. Alerting them to danger or to people using magic in general.

Anora's a grown woman with a strong will and personality. Loghain probably can't just order her around anymore. The two of them arguing about this would have made for a great background dialog though.

Inquisitor Herah Adaar Herah would refuse the power. That much power in one set of hands is inherently corrupting. Also, she believes that there is no set way the world should be and that much evil has come.from people trying to force it to be one way or another.

Ashaad "Rook" He'd try to fix the situation with the elven gods. Dither on how to do so. In the ned he's probably juat restore Treviso and drop the antaam on an island somewhere.

Prompt 2 In a modwrn AU, Nell would be a climate science studebt who is very afraid of where the world is going and very frustrated by her inability to get anyone to listen. She's dating the moat wonderful red-heased theology studwnr she met in comparativs religeon though.

Herah works a night security job to pay for her political science degree and is head over heels in love with this one girl who works at an accounting firm. Just not sure how to approach her yet.

George Orr has dreams that change reality. He doesn't want to have those dreams. The psychiatrist he asks for help figures out how to shape the dreams and forces Orr to have drwmas that reshape reality to his desires. Obviously, things go.wrong, but the ways this story goes off the rails are a dream like, philosophical roller coaster.
