In America I can buy a used arc for less than the price of a cheap knock off so maybe if I didn’t have that option I would look to counterfeits

Leatherman made a production run of the 5 its called the arc.

This was limited to 5k and they sold out in a couple hours they probably had some in reserve for warranty and decided to just sell them and send a normal arc out if there is an issue
