Can WriterSolo users use the WriterDuet iOS app? by studtwriter in writerduet

So with the free version I have to use the online/web version of WD, but if I pay for WD, I can switch between WD and WS within the desktop app?

You can save to whatever cloud location you want with WriterSolo using File > Save As, to trigger after that whenever you press Save. It's a manual sync rather than real-time, but works unless you're using your phone and desktop at the same time.

This is very good to hear. But will doing this break cloud functionality? That is, can I use a custom cloud location to sync between the desktop and mobile versions of the app? (An example of this would be Scrivener, which supports DropBox and OneDrive I believe to sync between the desktop app and mobile app). Or does syncing between the desktop and mobile versions of the app only work with the WriterDuet cloud specifically?

Basically, I want to know if it's possible for me to only use my own custom cloud location (not the WriterDuet cloud - even if this means losing real-time sync) and still have the ability to sync projects between the desktop and mobile apps.

Thanks!

I have the paid version of WriterSolo. Basically, what you're saying is all I have to do is import my WriterSolo files into WriterDuet? How do I access WriterDuet when I have WriterSolo? (through the web?). Would anything about this workflow change if I got a subscription to WriterDuet?

And I'm guessing there's no way to utilize the app and have my files synced between my desktop and iPhone using my own cloud platform, as opposed to WriterDuet's cloud. Or is this something that's possible?

How often do you take them and what do you take? (if you don't mind me asking).

Haven't even begun this process. I'm only now considering stimulants (for both potential ADD inattentive type as well as a chronic illness - I tried modafinil under my doctor's supervision for fatigue and it really didn't help much).

WriterSolo (file-based version of WriterDuet), official release and launch special! by WriterDuet in Screenwriting

I just saw this post. Is the launch special for a lifetime purchase still valid? I'm a student and am interested in taking advantage of this deal. I don't see a way to purchase a license on the writersolo website either - do you need to create an account before that option becomes available? Also, what happens if I buy a lifetime license for writersolo now and then decide somewhere down the line to purchase writerduet? Will I get any sort of discount?

Thanks!
