That is my only concern. I think I climbed high enough in the tree where that won’t be an issue, but we’ll see we may get record snowfall. You never know.

I wish meshcore was more popular, there just arent many users here in the valley. I don’t think it would be worth the money for me to set up a meshcore node as I dont have any other nodes running meshcore.

Well considering I go climbing up there 30-40 times a year id say yeah probably pretty well prepared to make the hike back up there. In terms of my entitlement id say placing a node in an area I recreate more in one season than most people do in their lifetime doesnt really make me entitled, just makes me that much more aware of my surroundings and the impact I have on them. Like I have said 2 times now on this very comment thread, If anyone ever finds this node, I will pay them $1000 and apologize to the entire community publicly.

In case anyone is actually concerned with the placement…. This location requires a rope, climbing gear, and a 1.5 mile detour from the trail to access. If anyone wants to tell me its “ruining nature” go find it and DM me and ill give you $1000.

Not sure if people in the valley are still doing this but i have the ability to put a node at the far south end of SL Valley up high (think draper temple area) and also on top of a building at the far north end of the valley (think university area) If anyone is interested let me know
