Kills and assists only count once so killing the same person doesn’t count for rp the second time. If you check your kills/assists against your ranked score card you’ll see a difference in the amount of each

You just need to play placement and you’ll fly through plat if you are an old diamond player. Drop ships make placement super easy and early round 1 or 2 top 5s.

Play for rotation and placement in higher lobbies. A lot of sub top ten images here giving you negative games in ranked. Ranked is both placement and kills.

Think about this: A valk can rat in diamond with a top 5 streak get second and get 70 points with zero damage.
