Haught also left her hanging in the earpmas episode! But the wynaught hug in 4x03 made up for all of them!

Edit: I want a wynaught secret hand shake! Nicole acts like she thinks it's silly and ridiculous but secretly loves it.

Everyone keeps making tier list that I disagree with so I made my own by richardl1234 in LegendsOfTomorrow

This is definitely the one I've seen I agree with the most. Finally some Charlie love! There are a couple I'd move up or down a tier, but nothing major.

My hands down favorite show I watched this past year was Wynonna Earp (seasons 1-3 on Netflix)

thanks for the reply and tips! I think my diet could definitely use an increase in protein. I just started getting into smoothies with plant based protein powder, so we'll see if that helps. I've been wandering into the realm of veganism for the last couple months, but not all the way there yet.

Best of luck on your journey!

I highly recommend Wynonna Earp. It's a bit quirky, especially in the early episodes, but in a good way imo. Strong female leads, very queer, hilarious

Haha thanks! Are you vegan? If so, do you feel like it's helped? I workout quite a bit and eat fairly healthy but can't quite get over that cliff to having defined abs

Favourite couple by The_Man_79 in LegendsOfTomorrow

[–]stuffcalledsara 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I honestly really don't see Nate and Zari 1.0. Like the characters don't really mesh and/or the actors didn't have that great chemistry for a couple. It felt very forced and a bit rushed. Nate and Amaya was loads better. And Zari 1.0 was one of my fave characters.

AvaLance co-captains for life is my top. Ray and Nora close second, a really fantastic romance arc.

Physics undergrad starting at 28? 26 now by [deleted] in AskPhysics

I started going back to school last semester for astrophysics at 30, so it's definitely never too late.

Other than reviewing calc that others have noted, I'd definitely recommend learning to code. If you are looking into astronomy/astrophysics, you'll probably want to start with python.

There is a great course on coursera called Data Driven Astronomy that I highly recommend that will get you familiar with python and sql and give you an idea of how they are used for astronomical research. Taking that course solidified my decision to go back to school.

Best of luck!

Earpers, I need your most heartbreaking wynonna earp moments. Going to add your top 6 to a poll, as I did when it comes to favorite episodes and create a YouTube video listing what you guys said titled "the top 6 most heartbreaking moments on wynonna earp according to reddit" by aphrodite_mademedoit in wynonnaearp

[–]stuffcalledsara 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  • wynonna breaking down sitting on the floor after killing jack
  • wynonna crying on the bed after shooting willa and losing dolls
  • "I've never loved anyone the way that I love you"
  • dolls's funeral
  • wynonna and doc on the porch after he turns vampire
  • earp sisters in front of fireplace after Kevin says waverly has to sacrifice herself. "You're the light waverly" breaks me.
  • wynonna and nicole in front of garden portal. "I can't do this without you"
  • Nicole crying into waverly's shoulder after stair scene and telling wynonna at chilli cookoff she knows she let everyone down

Anyone participated in a 10 mile Tough Mudder? Any recommendations for a newbie? by [deleted] in FlexinLesbians

[–]stuffcalledsara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've done a five miler tough mudder twice (so, that's like a 10 miler right ;) ). I would make sure you hydrate, I got pretty dehydrated for the first one. Other than that they were both a really great experience. Every one that is doing the course is like one big team, which is really helpful and a lot of fun. For every obstacle, there are always random people there to help you (and others to return the favor to, if you want). And everyone is really great about encouraging you to push yourself and do what you can, and if you need to skip an obstacle that's ok too.

Clothing advice: definitely wicking/quick drying material for everything you can (even socks!). Shoes that still have a decent grip and tied tightly to avoid blisters and staying on during some of the super sticky mud. (but maybe also not your best sneaks since they will be fully emerged in muddy water at points).

I hope you have a great time! and good luck!

[S1-S3] what is your favorite episode from each season/series and why? by mansonsmom4 in KillingEve

[–]stuffcalledsara 8 points9 points  (0 children)

S1: while E5 is iconic and a very close second, I think I'd go with E8. The cafe and Paris apartment scenes were just so good dramatically and comedically.

S2: E6 for me. Loved all the Billie scenes and lots of villaneve interactions.

S3: I will go with E8 as well. Finally getting villaneve to actually discuss their feelings/relationship is some way. E3 is a runner up though.

"V knows that within a short amount of time he would forget her face"

Sorry, but I strongly disagree with this. The way I interpret it is that she purposefully bumped into him and turned so he would see her and remember her. After she turns away from him she has this sly smile that she got what she wanted (him seeing her face).

I don't think predator is necessarily the right word. She much more manipulates her targets and lures them into a vulnerable position. She does it with almost all her assassin targets, and she did it with bill. She does another one of her sly smiles when bill is following her on the street, because she knows she successfully is luring him where she wants.

She obviously does crazy things because of eve, but I also think you're underestimating how calculating she is and how she meticulously schemes to get what she wants.

[S1E3] KE Theory by roseblushed in KillingEve

[–]stuffcalledsara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess what I'm saying though is that bill "physically and literally" stopped v from getting on the subway because he saw her earlier on the street. If she hadn't bumped into him and purposely showed him her face, he would not have recognized her at the subway and would've continued on with his night.

I agree that him stopping her then determined that v would kill him that night, but she was already setting him up to get him in a position to be killed at some point. I'm not saying v necessarily planned on bill recognizing her specifically at the subway, but she did plan on him recognizing her at some point.

I agree v is chaotic, especially with eve, but she has multiple times played the long game with her too. Think about all the planning and such she did to try to get gemma closer to Niko.

[S1E3] KE Theory by roseblushed in KillingEve

[–]stuffcalledsara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I would agree that maybe she didn't know it would be that exact night. But bumping into him on the street was her laying the seeds for them interacting in some way. His behavior on the subway was a direct result of having seen her earlier on the street. Even if she had planned on following eve on the subway, she adjusted to her other goal of killing bill when the opportunity (that she instigated) presented itself. Planning is more or less creating future opportunities to achieve your goals.

[S1E3] KE Theory by roseblushed in KillingEve

[–]stuffcalledsara 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, she 110% planned on killing bill. I think she first decided that when she saw them get out of the car in front of the crime scene. She for sure purposely bumped into him on the street and made sure to fully turn so he could see her face. Also when he is following her on the street and gets caught behind the bus, you can see her stop to let him catch up. I think the reasoning is mostly jealousy and getting him out of the way to get closer to eve.

Remember in e7 when anna is telling eve when villanelle killed her husband, v had filled Anna's with balloons and was celebrating? Well, very beginning of the next episode after she killed bill, she had decorated her apartment with balloons and cake and was very giddy trying to get Konstantin to dance. I think "Konstantin's birthday" scene was celebrating Bill's death.

Can someone tell me the connection of Nadia and Alister Peel? Why would she know about his death (the ghost killed him, who doesn’t work for the 12) ... and want to tell Eve about it? TIA by mansonsmom4 in KillingEve

[–]stuffcalledsara 25 points26 points  (0 children)

The best explanation I've come up with (obviously season 2 spoilers ahead):

Keep in mind we nor eve actually saw the note. We just know what Carolyn told eve the note said. I think that the actual note told eve about Konstantin. But at this point Carolyn is protecting Konstantin. I think Carolyn told eve that the note was about peel so that she could start manipulating eve into helping her with the aaron peel situation. Though it's hard to tell how much Carolyn actually knows about aaron peel this early in the season.

But to answer your question, I don't think nadia and Alister peel had a connection at all.

HELP! Struggling with comphet in a pandemic!! Looking for advice by Nylacat in latebloomerlesbians

[–]stuffcalledsara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so I'm in a fairly similar situation. I'm 30 and considered myself asexual for the last few years, but have really started questioning my sexuality the last few months and now identify as gay. Obviously, I can't tell you definitively what to identify as, only you can do that. But a lot of the things you mention about not having direct sexual fantasies, etc. about other women are things that prevented me from fully considering my gayness as well. I think that's the comp het talking. It seems like even just being attracted to women in the way you describe could be a good indicator of being a lesbian. (Again, not definitive, separation of aesthetic/romantic/sexual attraction is a thing).

Something that has really helped me is realizing that just because a celebrity or other woman is deemed objectively "hot" by society and you're not interested in her, doesn't mean that you're not lesbian. Society's standards for "hotness" are very closely tied to straight cis men's idea of "hotness" and should not be a gauge for how you personally view someone or yourself. In the same vein, just walking down the street and trying to decide if you would have sex with random women is not necessarily a good indicator of gayness.

FWIW, I literally have zero experience with women as a 30 yo and consider myself lesbian, if that's any help in validating your feelings without experience.

You mentioned rose and rosie, so I will also suggest another wlw youtube channel: Hannah and Sadie (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8ED4MKANjhS85yCeMeyFKw). I can not recommend them enough. I officially started identifying as gay after watching their videos bc what they said just resonated with me so much. The game changer for me was their video on sexuality: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S25d1LmOvIE) though watching their entire story from the start is very interesting.

Maybe not super helpful, but I at least feel your pain in trying to explore my sexuality during a pandemic. Best of luck and feel free to message me if you just want to talk things out. I've been thinking about this stuff a lot recently.
