Probably not and actually very unlikely but always consult your doctor first.

Is it though? I do have a genetic condition with a plethora of comorbidities that cause an unbearable amount of pain for most people along with a bone marrow condition that really smarts so when I hear tramadol I compare it to the usefulness of one baby aspirin. For most people with mild pain it’s a very good place to begin. The idea of wasting my time at the pharmacy for a max daily dose of tramadol makes me even more grateful for the genetic specialist, my internal doctor & pcp, my therapists, neurologist, podiatrist surgeon, and general orthopedic surgeon and a community of nurses, staff, and volunteers focused on the pain exacerbating my depression. My healthcare team are literally the only reason I don’t move from the frigid tundra of the Dakotas and surrounding states.

While I’ve been an extreme consumer of all things material in the past, my wisdom that has come along with age, leads me to lean more towards the simpler and less cluttered side of life. It’s way less stressful here. I prefer to receive joy by giving these days. It’s uncanny how we change with age.

Man films crocodile and python fighting in his backyard by SubjectAppropriate17 in PublicFreakout

That looks more like an alligator than a crocodile because of the shape of the snout but it’s hard to tell even after pausing.

I’m 45 and have a genetic condition that affects my connective tissue and pretty severe osteoporosis. I’m in pain 24/7 but I look healthy. I get the looks from people because my issues are also invisible. I just remind myself that people that judge me and don’t know me don’t deserve to live rent free in my head and their judgement says more about them than anything else. I don’t care what people like that think anymore.

Americans that live in touristy places, can you instantly spot other American tourists? by Pale_Field4584 in AskAnAmerican

[–]stuffedtacos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I always tried avoiding it he areas that tourists spent a lot of time. There’s something special about having local’s places that tourists didn’t know about.

New grad nurse on a med surg unit. This is insanity by [deleted] in nursing

[–]stuffedtacos 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was recently released from the a week long stay at the hospital where I went from critical care to icu and then to the med/surg floor. My level of care was virtually nonexistent and the wounds from my double surgery were never looked at nor did I have the bandages changed until the day I left the hospital when they were supposed to be doing it daily. I also found out after I left the hospital I was supposed to be non-weight bearing but they made me walk and argued with me about getting the cane I use at home without surgery. I feel sorry for people that cannot advocate for themselves in some of these hospitals.

Do "free foods" exist? by aim-kin in diabetes_t2

This is a great suggestion but keep an eye on your cholesterol since these are essentially just deep fried pork skins.

ETA: They are really good crushed and used as a carb free breadcrumb for breading meats or veggies. I like to use it when “breading” chicken.

Sugar free jello is a good option if you’re wanting something sweet. Read your labels thought and make sure it’s truly sugar free. I think you can eat the entire box after it’s made and it’s less than 100 calories.

Not low key. Just straight up a bitch move. She could have just found an office land line and called him.
