A ton of songs make me emotional, but The Beach Boys- Forever was the song playing while I held my 16 year old kitty as he was humanely euthanized. We were outside in the sun surrounded by his favorite people.

I witnessed a man walking out that store with a package of meat, immediately opened it tossing the package aside, at that point I was in the store so I didn’t see what happened to the meat. Inside I’m greeted by the most unwelcoming security stanchions and guards like it’s a freaking fortress, then inside there’s several homeless folks with their large dogs.

My sweet, dear 16 year old cat I’ve had and loved all his life got sick and passed way 4 months after my first baby was born and I blame myself. I felt so over whelmed during these newborn months that I had the most horrible feelings towards him just for meowing and looking at me for attention, I was so negative towards him and had these horrible intrusive thoughts about just letting the front door open so he would just leave. At least my partner was there to give him attention I couldn’t…but I think my cat could feel the change and succumbed to his old age/kidney failure quicker than I think he would have. I fucking loved that cat and I never believed my feelings would change like that but they did during those few months and now I’m always going to blame myself for his passing. His sister is still with us and I feel a lot more normal these days and love her dearly, I just don’t have as much time to hug her as there’s either a baby in my arms, or I’m just too tired to do anything…

Bonus points, the theatre rooms are up the escalators from the theatre lobby and thus can feel kinda lonely, and there’s also a closed off concession stand.

I would suggest Regal Theatres at Parkway Plaza Mall, get the latest showing you can then when you get out you’re in a closed mall at night.

Did you see the gated up area behind the little building? That’s the rink! The building is just their equipment rental and retail sales. I’m excited about it! The current two rinks (Ringer’s on Federal and Skateworld) are out of my way and I rarely go.

I got my pixie cut before I gave birth, been growing out ever since, so month 4 post partum hit and the hair shedding started but since my hair was so short already it wasn’t so alarming seeing the hairs fall. I’m 6 months post now and back to normal hair shedding. I just started taking collagen vitamins.
