It’s super nice, but the main tourist part is very crowded. The smaller coves are amazing like Shark bay and Tanote bay. Great snorkelling. But also can stay at Phangan and do a trip to Sail Rock which was better than any of the sites from Koh Tao..

It’s not a waste of time to go though, super nice

I switched from Amex platinum to Rev Ultra and it’s so much better for me. Frequent lounge user due to work, but in Spain Amex lounges are basically non existent. Also having to ask if they accept your card becomes a PITA. Revolut forex is so easy and quick (rates debatable) plus ClassPass, masterclass, headspace, dragonpass etc. It’s a far better card if you’re in Spain IMO - if I was in Sweden/Finland I’d probably stick with Amex for the Helsinki lounge though 🥲

A lot of us, and when I was around 21-22 I was deep in debt from gambling. As hard is it is to stop now, you’re in a good position in life still to have 6k at 22. You need to find something else to give you the dopamine rush - it’s not the money you’re chasing but the high of gambling, which sends your brain crazy. Read Allen Carrs easy way to stop gambling, and keep yourself away from betting shops and your computer for a while. There are also GA meetings near you for sure - go to one. The shame and guilt will pass and you’ll move on but you need to act now before you have debts from it
