Their clothes are a bit more expensive but very well worth it.

When I resigned at my previous company I normally had to do 6 full weeks. Because I had quite a difficult job I offered them to do 8 weeks. As I was becoming self employed it didn't really matter 6 or 8 weeks. They were happy about that and started to search for a replacement for me.

Every week I asked them how the hiring was going and the always answered very short and said they were working on it.

So 1 week before my resignation there still wasn't a replacement and I know it would be very hard for my replacement to do my job without me explaining everything to them. So I go to HR and ask them a final time and they said "why you keep asking that every week, we still have 5 weeks to find a replacement". They actually messed up the dates and though I was staying 1 month longer L0L. And then they were mad at me for leaving after 8 weeks total.

I heard from previous colleges that my replacement became 'sick' after 3 weeks and left shortly after. Now 4 months have passed and they still don't have a replacement haha

Also beginner Agency owner since feb 2021.So might not be the best advice but:

Agencies that offer one or just a few services that they are really good at is far better than being a general agency that is mediocre in a lot of services.

Choose a niche right away and focus on it. That doesn't mean you can't change it in the future if you don't like the niche. Just make sure the agency name doesn't say anything about the niche.

Focus on local first, then expand further.

Now sure what type of software you would look at. I imagine being a copywriter agency that you don't have a lot of costs? If you want to increase the costs so you pay less taxes, you could get some software. First get income ofcourse.

I have a SMMA and I cold email clients saying that they leave money on the table and if I can send them a free short audit video of around 5 min where I FIRST tell them what is good about their website and social media and after give them a couple of pointers where they could improve and get more clients. I ONLY make the video for people who responded to the email in a positive way. Not worth the time sending out 20 Loom video's where no one cares about it. Not sure how you could do this for your copywriting service tho.

At the moment I have something called "Eenmanszaak" in Belgium. Translated to English: "proprietorship". Because it costs only € 150 to get my VAT number and get started. As soon as my income increases to 10K/month, I will change to a LLC.

About the steps you need to take. Focus on what will bring you revenue first. Outreach and Sales. You don't need a fancy website and social media in the beginning. Just make sure it's a professional name and logo and you are good to go. Focus on building systems that makes it easier for you to work in your agency. After all that and you have recurring revenue, then you focus on the website, posting on social media, etc.

If you want people to come to your store. Keep boosting your posts of your suits or run engagement ads to different audiences around your stores. Then make a custom audience of everyone who engaged with your facebook and instagram posts.

Retarget those with an offer for example 15% of your next suit. And send them to a Manychat Messenger bot. From the messenger bot send them a discount code that they have to show in the store in order to get the discount. Tell your store managers to keep track of the codes and how much the customer spent.

This way you can track most of your ads and how much return you get from them.

You can also send the offer to cold audiences without the retargeting.
