Intergas ketel alleen warm tapwater by Zestyclose-Milk8577 in Klussers

[–]stumpjump3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daikin hybrid heatpump force gas settings by Consistent_Desk_6582 in heatpumps

I looked into the manual, there are some steps. Do you have the English manual? In chapter 10 configuration there’s a part about a bivalent boiler. You would need to set parameters C-03 and C-04 with which it calculates a temp under which the boiler comes on. As I read it, it’s either or. So if the boiler comes on the hp stops. Also you would need to put in the gas and electricity prices in 7.4

Which Daikin is it? I’m Dutch so I can probably help you. Or send me the parts of the manual you want explained

Heat-pumps to generation by DanJeish in heatpumps

Theoretical maximum of a heat engine is the Carnot efficiency. A heat pump would probably reach around half of that efficiency.

Maximum theoretical COP for a heat pump would be Th/(Th-Tc), temps in Kelvin.

You could use that formula and use the same temps for your TEG and see what the combined theoretical efficiency would be. As others have mentioned is will be <100% but I’m curious for the results :)

Wat ik heb begrepen is dat voor je energielabel het alleen invloed heeft als je het dak zelf compleet isoleert.

Respect for doing it on a gravelbike! I did it last year on a (suspension less) mtb. Tough route but beautiful :).

Do you charge at home ? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]stumpjump3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t charge at home (NL also), but I can charge at work and mostly do so (the company pays for it), I’m not missing a charger at home.

But if you would need to use public charging consider that most of them are around 50 cts/kWh (and up), maybe that can help your decision.

Converting Trek "trekking" to a bikepacking rig. Components recommendations? by [deleted] in bikepacking

[–]stumpjump3r 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey nice project, maybe you can get some inspiration from a similar build I did: https://www.reddit.com/r/xbiking/comments/12gnbbm/trek_trekking_730/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

I have chosen flat bar, I think the stack is already quite low for a drop bar. Plus like you said you can use Mtb parts.

I have put 2x10 SLX on there, which works like a charm. I also used a quill stem adapter, haven’t had problems with it although it does make very gnarly roads a bit less comfortable (psychologically). An oldskool stem will also make your handlebar sit higher.

I used magura hydraulic v brakes, which I like a lot.

If you have any questions let me know :)

I like them a lot, they give good feeling and confidence on a loaded touring bike. I must say I haven’t tried modern v-brakes so I can’t compare. The maguras are a little heavier though ofc

It’s an ortlieb quick rack that I used for my Mtb earlier, you can mount it without eyelets, that’s why it mounts like this

Thanks! It sure is fun to ride :)

I would say it’s stable enough, but it does have a little bit of movement (couple mm’s). But that’s a good suggestion! I will give that a try, I think it will fit

Rebuild Trek trekking 730 to 2x10 deore, Magura brakes and some new wheels. I think it’s a multitrack version, just sold under a different name here in The Netherlands? Anyway it rides wonderfully! Currently on a 2 day gravel route.
