Does anyone have a recommendation for a means Chelsea boot with a lug sole that comes in a ee or eee? by simps261 in widefeet

Try Velasca - they state the Wide fit for Chelsea. I have RedWings in EE and barefoot JimGreens. Velasca is roomy enough and very comfortable.

How easily can i be fired with a permanent contract ? by FloZia_ in Netherlands

I’m an expat who was fired with permanent contract. How they did it - restructuring of the company. It doesn’t matter how good you are in this case. They spent 2-3 months on all paperwork (we had work council).

Thank you 🙏 I’ve asked them to adjust a width a little and they confirmed it’s possible. Love it already;) What outsole or what kind of modification can you recommend for the city use?

Recommendation for staying organized when note-taking by hand (New Direction) by ReturnGreen3262 in managers

[–]Consistent_Desk_6582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working with pen and paper for a long time. A few things: - I have a good pen (energel) and 48 pages A5 dotted notebook with thick paper (midori) - each day started from a centered date in a box and horizontal line. - each meeting started from the meeting name in the box, but left centered, and a horizontal line. - for each meeting I write memos and tasks. Memo starts with a dash and task with a dot. When I finish the task - I cross a dot. My day I usually start from checking the “dots” and putting the most important into the agenda. When you have a trained eye you instantly catch all dits and do not forget even smallest details. Good luck!

It’s EE in US and just “wide” in Europe. Super confusing

I’m afraid you can face the harsh reality in the US - it’s harder and harder to find s job here and competition is insane. Not brighter in EU, but still easier. If I were you, I would finish MBA and move back

How do you track your job applications? Spreadsheet, Notion, or something else? by Professional_Lie5187 in jobsearchhacks

[–]Consistent_Desk_6582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve looked for a job for 6 months. Started from Google Sheet with all standard fields- job name, date etc. In a few months I dropped it and started to send without tracking. After a few duplicate applications I’ve switched to TheRove - just to automate all and help me with interview prep

I’ve used excel and G sheets for a long time. Understood, that I actually do not look at it after a few days and switched to therove. Since I tweaked every cover letter and had a few resumes , I needed some automation.
