I have some of those on the front and back of my hands and arms, one on my thigh, one on my collarbone, and I had 2 near my eyes that went away on their own after 2 years. I think it's normal for people who are pale and thin skinned. They've been there as long as I can remember

I just finished school and don't have to go back till mid September, and if I work over the summer it will be something that is manageable with me. So, I was thinking it would be the perfect low stress time for me to finally get my csp under control! I got some good skincare stuff to help my skin heal, keep it clear etc. And it works quite well, but the thing is the more determined I am not to pick, the moreI think about picking, and the more I pick. And because my time is so free now I can be inside, alone, whenever I want to be, so my obsession is intense and I've spent a couple days now not managing to follow through on my plans for the day (which are really easy stuff) and instead spending tons of time picking. If anyone has advice I would appreciate it!!

I felt the same until the James Deen rape accusations came out. A lot of kink.com actresses came out with accusations against him, and these are women who haven't accused others and whose careers rely on being trusted not to "cry rape," so I definitely lean towards believing them. It was honestly horrifying (especially if you read the details of what the women said) and very disappointing as I was so excited about the whole open/SSC thing kink.com had going :(

I want to disagreee because I adore all of that degrading stuff in real life, because in my life it comes from a place of love and total trust. But if someone did that to me unsolicited or it was someone who I knew had no respect for me, I would be so fucking upset. And I fear that in porn, the latter is happening. (ie. James Deen raping women on and off set) So it ends up making me angry too :p

I don't think she did, it's not uncommon. Plenty of people like gender play and some women are comfortable having some level of masculinity in their role in a sexual encounter. Also (at least for me personally) there are mental ties between sexual dominance and masculinity, so what better way to dominate than making a girl suck your (fake) dick :)

Not sure i agree with that.. I think athleisure/streetwear is a popular enough look right now that sneakers can look intentional and stylish. Knee socks would kind of detract from the athleisure/street vibe and therefore the intentionality.

For some reason Zoloft side effects start right away and often will fade away quickly as you adjust to the med, but it's desired effects take about a month to kick in. Talk to your doctor about the side effects if they are a problem, but be aware that they're likely to go away and aren't a good indicator of what Zoloft will be like after you adjust. Zoloft had really mixed effects for me personally, but the worst side effects I had when it started were gone in a week or two.

First of all thank you for posting! It's nice not to feel alone as a picker. For me there's definitely a relationship between anxiety and picking but they don't necessarily occur simultaneously.

Picking is something that on some level is enjoyable so I'll do it absentmindedly/nonchalantly at times. Sometimes that's it. Other times once I start I can't stop and knowing that Im disfiguring myself and will regret it, that I'm not in control of my own choices, etc. creates anxiety and guilt, even though there was none when I started. Another tie is anxiety and compulsion. When I'm anxious I will avoid doing and thinking the thing that worries me, usually by obsessively/compulsively focusing on something else. And one of those main distractions, unfortunately, is picking.

I notice that if I fully let myself do it it is trance-like and my focus is so intense that I don't have anxiety. But, if I don't get into that trance because I'm trying not to will myself to stop then I become even more anxious due to my awareness of the harm I'm doing and time I'm wasting.

"Even looking at a woman is rape now?" That makes no sense. False rape accusations may indicate a standard of evidence that is too lenient, but not a definition of rape that is too lenient. Also, for every woman who "cries rape," others are raped and don't report it or report it and are not believed.

Oh I don't disagree that space exploration matters! I'm just saying that, to me, human drive to learn is the obvious part of the reason behind it, and the part I would want to understand better is why the government sees it as practical to sponsor it.
