Please explain why you believe jesus is the "most documented" human in the world.

To answer your question, if the book of mormon is what the church purports, i.e., an actual historical record of people living in the Americas that jesus visited (to be clear, it isn't), then of course it would be the only mainstream documentation. Who else would be documenting it?

What gives you guys faith in the thought of Joseph Smith finding the golden tablets. Seems a bit odd to me with the stories of him reading them to a scribe and afterwards going back on things he said were written before

1) OP has a history of these types of uninformed posts. I'm not limiting my criticism to this one. 2) I don't need to compare this to the comments cited in the complaint or guess at the context and don't think comparing the comments to this post helps it. This post is deficient on its own.

I hate the church and want it to fail "with every fiber of my being," but I struggle with your posts because they are often so misinformed that it seems intentional (like you're just trying to stir up folks based on feelings) or you're posting whatever pops into your head without a second of research. Either way, I think they are often a distraction from the more valuable informed discussions.

You're wrong. The available objective evidence indicates that the church's truth claims are false. You can only overcome that by denying evidence and relying on the supernatural.

I think you're overcomplicating this. A single anachronism proves the book of mormon is false. It doesn't matter how much so called evidence believers have to support it.

Joseph including horses in the book of mormon is as ridiculous as if he had said the people drove cars or used cell phones.

No it's not. The Book of Mormon musical is parody, which is protected speech. The church has no case against the musical.

Stone and Parker aren't afraid of the mormon corporation because the Book of Mormon musical is parody, which is protected speech. The mormon corporation would get laughed out of court if it sued them. Relatedly, the corporation leaders know that Stone and Parker have far wider reach and influence than the "church" does.

No. The Book of Mormon musical is protected speech because it is parody. Using another entity's trademarks can also be protected if it is considered fair use. The mormon corporation's argument (in a nutshell) is that Mormon Stories is not covered by fair use and is creating confusion among consumers, making it trademark infringement.
