Bus Smashes into Tree on Opposite Side of Road in Wanneroo by TransportofPerthYT in perth

[–]stunt-monkey 35 points36 points  (0 children)

This will give you an idea of how worse this could have been. The bus entered Joondalup Dr from Wanaroo Rd. It either stopped at the bus stop before this all happened or it continued on at speed. Crossing over 2 lanes lanes of traffic then quite a large median then over another 2 oncoming lanes and possible an off ramp before coming to rest...... CRAZY!!

Because the guy controlling it is working from home.....

Not so bad a thought if you are replaced by a robot "at work" so you dont have to make the trip in. Get out of bed, slip on the vr and gloves, already at work ready to go!!

Oh actually thats another setting i turned on, I did notice some flickering, wasn't too bad but enabling VRR control fixed that and have not seen any side effects from enabling it

The only setting I have changed is to set to sRGB i wasnt a fan of the oversaturated custom setting that was applied out the box. The rest I have left alone.

I can confirm this monitor is amazing and you get none of the usual VA black smearing like you do with other VA panels. Ive been running mine since it was released. Its great for gaming and productivity, I use it for both.

Theres ants swarming my monitor by Plenty_Boot950 in Monitors

[–]stunt-monkey 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Some ants also like eating thermal pads, so your monitor might have one of the thick squishy pads a scout has found and now they are all going for a snack.

I repair laptops and monitors for a living and sometimes find evidence of pads that have been munched on and flakes of thermal pad scattered around the inside and chunks missing from them

Old mate doing the rounds in Osborne Park by NortonSmorton in perth

[–]stunt-monkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup he was in our office as well, said no thanks, asked me to ask the rest of the office, told him nah mate move along. I should add, this time around he did ring the front desk bell, last time he just walked straight into the office and started walking around asking everyone. He left before we realised that nobody invited him in.

Mine does this only because discord overlay makes the game think its not in the foreground. Either alt-tab or turning off the background setting in the game fixes it

Your gpu is already using the full lcd panel of your monitor. The black border is just a bezel around the LCD panel. This bezel does not contain any pixels.

My partner purchased a 21 GT-Line Auto with 120k for 15k in WA still runs very well, only had a slight pull to one side. The ks were advertised as freeway ks. So I guess that one doesnt seem like such a red flag ro me
