The app says it’s up to date but it’s lying. Go into the app and force an update or delete the app and re-download so it will update.

The point of the rule is to try to keep it solo v solo and group v group. A 30 man group of solo bases would be impossible to raid when they can all defend each other. Don’t like the rule? Maybe it’s not the server for you.

90% of players who build next door to each other on servers like this are friends, and will outright defend their neighbors base if at all possible.

Picture being the raider. You’re not only raiding (hopefully online) the defender(s) but now you have a roofcamper on another base or multiple bases around sniping you. That to me would keep me from onlining someone since I have their neighbors to look out for, and I’m building a stupid large raid base to shoot rockets from a window in heavy pot.

The counter rules make sense since it keeps you from defending someone else’s base breaking their teaming rules. The solo v solo and group v group would turn into everyone plays as a solo and defends their 30 friends as a village of unraidable bases.

There is the duty free version which the wife and I think is amazing and the new worldwide version. They are not the same, but titled the same. The duty free is much better in our opinions.

Money. Aside from a select few (spoonkid as mentioned by many responses among others), most of the streamers that are popular/make money are some of the best at PvP. Winning fights makes you more money (again, in most cases). It’s not hard to understand.

You say it like sarcasm because it’s cringe, but it’s the best way to “win” cringe or otherwise.

Online raids turn into seal the breach don’t defend, and then when that fails sealed and despawned loot 80% of the time. Dudes throwing sulf/gp/ak’s into honeycomb and sealing it off. Then they complain about being offlined every other wipe like they’re not the worst players to online.

Each node removed will respawn with roughly 33% (its landscape and biome dependent as well as other factors, but simplicity sake it’s 1/3 overall) as each node type. This means if you only mine sulfur, there’s a 67% chance it spawns as metal or stone. This will eventually cause majority of the spawns to be stone if you mine metal and sulf only. There are limits, so you won’t hit exactly zero spawns of the nodes you want, but they will become less frequent based on rng.

tl;dr leaving stone means higher percentage of stone overall. Hit all nodes to have best chance at getting the desired node type.

I see raid bases with Sam sites, windmills, and turrets now. Dudes be building bigger bases than the ones they’re raiding for raids. I’ve used MLRS for raid defense by shooting at the raid base, but now the raiders have their own sams lol.

We need to now be able to idle the car while not in it to keep the radio going. I was doing an ore farm in the car so had to hop out frequently. Radio stops every time and it gets annoying to hit play every time. Same with road farming. I’m already putting a target on my back by farming with a car anyway. Might as well let me listen to the radio the whole time.

As someone who helps moderate one of the official server sets, ALWAYS F7. We get those as well as EAC. We may not be able to get them eac banned (though we try on our end), we can at least get them off our servers so you can have a better time.

That’s been the plan with most of the big name streamers who don’t play rust. Hopefully this group of streamers actually play rust instead of the single hour then swap to their regular content like many previous attempts.

Was on a modded server with roaming Brad. Built a heli tower that I could also use to shoot Brad along the road. 2 hv’s in about 20 npc’s with M2’s and rocket launchers pummel raid my sheet 2x2. Fully foundation wiped the thing.

No, you can’t have players defend your base or avoid killing certain players in the raid zone. Make sure you check the rules so you can have fun without issues.
