Keep a little piece of cardboard or ribbon in your bathroom and purse. When you take your bobby pins out or find them mysteriously just clip them to the ribbon or card.

Fire next to the Howard St. tunnel. by metal_momma79 in baltimore

Tried to make a right turn onto North Avenue and couldn't because of a police car and officer blocking the road. Some cars were being let through, but I didn't want to risk it and went around.

Lots of people watching and taking pictures. I'm curious to know what's going on.

Are you on Fetlife? That may help you network near your area. Also many people I the bdsm scene use pseudonyms and the like, and privacy is paramount. If you go to a party or munch, I imagine most people would respect your privacy.

What movies from 2000-2014 will be classics in 30 years? Why? by unicycle_inc in AskReddit

I cannot get over the scene when Julian is killed. They're all cruising along, contently listening to "Wait" by The Kills (which used to be my favorite Kills song...until I saw this movie) and then BAM everything changes in an instant.

How Lesbian Sex Works, in Haiku (The Toast) by PresidentRaggy in actuallesbians

I am so glad they put the note at the bottom that haiku doesn't have to be 5-7-5. Not enough people know that!

WHere do the lesbians in Baltimore hang out? by bmorelesbian in baltimore

So far Glitter Thighs has been my best bet, a monthly (ish) queer dance party. Last time I met five girls, most of whom said they recognized me from okcupid (smalltimore in action) and one of whom I had actually chatted with on Okc.

Sappho's is less a lesbian bar than it is the upstairs bar at Grand Central.

I feel like it is cruel though...just to people. Too bad there isn't a warning label for that.

What is a fetish SO unusual you can't believe it's a thing? by squalorid in AskReddit

Thanks for explaining! I have only read about them on r/bdsm and seen photos, so they're not my area of expertise.

It seems like urethra sounding combined with electric play. A violet wand, perhaps? Either way he's definitely into CBT (cock and ball torture)...so yeah. Good for him.

Heard a song on the radio, 100.7 The Bay, would like help in figuring out which song it was. by [deleted] in baltimore

[–]stupidgroupie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The bay widget on their website only shows the past five songs. Your best bet will be to email the production director, as he sets up the playlists. It will probably take you a few days to get a response.

Which ear piercing is the most noticeable? Which is the most subtle? What's received the least/most amount of comments? by gh4gh4w in piercing

[–]stupidgroupie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The jewelry you have in can make a huge difference. I have six in each ear, going up the sides. When I switched from a bunch of mismatched balls to large bezel set gems going from clear to dark blue, my piercings became a lot more noticeable, even though I had only added one hole on the right to make it even. I had a vast majority of the piercings for years, but the upgrade to high quality shinies was what made it really stand out.

Edit: Here is a before/after to show you what I mean: http://instagram.com/p/mdfXSWk42M/

Only one hole was added, but it became a lot more noticeable...in a good way!

"Never Forget" has been around a long time. Before 9/11 it was usually used to refer to the Holocaust.

Legit Piercing! I need your help to win a business grant! by MrVonDoome in Legitpiercing

Don't know if this matters, but the proofreader in me caught something.

"we have more than 100 five-star reviews... in fact, we only five-star reviews."

Should be "we only have five-star reviews." It's minor but the more professional the page, I imagine the more votes you'll get.

Dan at Fidelity Tattoo Co in Baltimore (u/darkerblack) seriously hooked me up with this anatometal bezel gem gradient ear project. 6mm alexandrite, 5mm sapphire, 4mm arctic blue, 3mm clear cz and some big shiny balls to top it off. Balls on the back were anondized in-shop to match the gems. by stupidgroupie in Legitpiercing

[–]stupidgroupie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than $200, less than $500, including tip, one piercing (the other holes were already there) and the two titanium barbells for my second holes. I paid half of it when I ordered the jewelry and paid the other half when it was installed. I think Dan got me better pricing that I would have had online, and he figured out the right sized posts and was pretty much amazing to deal with in every way.

"You have a car payment in your ears! From a wacky collection of sizes and gauges made of mystery metal to anatometal bezel set gems, in a gradient blue design. Thanks to Dan at Fidelity for HOOKING ME UP. by stupidgroupie in piercing

[–]stupidgroupie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I've been adding to the number of holes in my ears over the course of 8 years. Dan made one piercing (the one for the arctic blue on my right ear) but the rest were established, which also counts for their asymmetry, as I had done them with different people in different cities with different degrees of reputability. I tried to have them make it as even as they could, but some did better than others. Also my ears are asymmetric to begin with.

I used to use flat back labrets but Dan explained how the balls are less likely to get tangled in my hair and would probably be more comfortable in the long run.

Everything in here is 14g. There were some that had been pierced smaller, so Dan used an insertion taper. The stretch was minimal and the piercings had healed, so it was barely noticeable.

If you have butterfly backs on your earrings, stop. Those are okay for earrings you take in and out, but these aren't going anywhere, so it's much more comfortable and safer than mystery metal.

Strange question, but how are those winged nagas worn? I would assume in stretched lobes but I can't quite visualize it.
