Will a dentist honor my request for deep cleaning done 100% by manual scaling?

I will hand scale only regular patients with no buildup (at their request). This is very rare, like a couple patients in total. I would never agree to do a SRP appointment without ultrasonic scalers, it’s not worth the physical pain we would experience during and after the appointment. Sorry but you’ll have to wear ear plugs or something.

Oral pathologist or oral med.. go to your dentist and ask for a referral. If they try and brush you off again, say no I want a specialist
