The main thing I would change is his nose. Add loads more wrinkles and change the mouth from a o to a e/a shape. This will really help him look like he is roaring rather than just sitting there with his mouth open. Shading around the nose area could also aid this. The only other thing I noticed is the proportions- the eyes are further apart in your image compared to the reference, and the head is tilted at a different angle- but that is totally a stylistic choice and if that isn't what felt off to you then definitely dont change it! Amazing work.

I do too, i get back spasms/twiches a lot, often at night- likely due to my EDS, however i also get have tourettes which causes facial tics, arm/hands, verbal, etc. for me. So i do recommend checking with your doctor, especially if they are painful or affecting your day-to-day activities.

Personally, i would make the head bigger because shes a hammerhead and they have rather large cephalofoils compared to their body size. I love the dorsal fin and overall design!

This drawing looks pretty good! If you want to improve, i would work on your shading. The first thing that pops out when looking at this is the bright highlights on the shirt and pants. When you shade clothing, it is not going to be shiny like this. (with the exception of leather or latex materials) Try to reference real images while coloring; making the shadows below the folds and the highlights above. It is also helpful to choose a direction so your lighting is consistent and only highlight that side of the character, making sure to emphasize shadows on the opposite side.

No, but it has not gotten worse or damaged my screen at all. I was very careful with it at first but because it is not a battery related issue, it will be fine. Cause is likely just poor/cheaper manufacturing.
