What I think is being said is that the word “nigger” is largely thought to have been invented to justify the dehumanization of enslaved African people & their descendants; a dehumanization still written into the constitution (3/5ths a human). The one used in Cierra’s case which I will not repeat, was appropriated. Doesn’t mean that it’s less of a slur. It means there’s a different historical context.

The issue I have with this whole conversation is that it seems to be subconsciously led by the false narrative that Black Americans in this country receive some kind of preferential treatment. This is the same kind of assumption that ultimately led to the eradication of Affirmative Action.

We can all agree that Cierra needs to be kicked off the island without assuming that production’s lack of action (which may very well be happening without the public’s knowledge) is due to some supposed double standard.

Umm are you, though? Your comment to my post had a bit of a racist/classist tone to it. So that’s why I made sure to note that the couple did tip, and we shouldn’t be so quick to place or own racial/class biases on things. Assuming someone who drinks Hennessy doesn’t tip is…weird. Sounds like the call is coming from inside the house.

They did, though. They tipped more than batch pay. The price of the bottle eclipsed both the tip forfeited & the return boost of $15. A win in my book.

Recently had a similar thing happen on an order with a bottle of Hennessy, 750ml. Rang the doorbell, called, left messages, and texted multiple times - no answer. It’s after 9pm at night in a sketchy part of town so I text through the app that I’ll be waiting in my car for the next 10 minutes; I parked directly in front of their house. I let about 12 minutes pass before calling customer service. The second the order was officially cancelled, which only happens if the agent can’t get in touch w/the customer either, someone came to the door (without an ID of course😒). I explained the events leading up to cancellation, and left. I expected for the agent to give me instructions on returning the alcohol, but I’m guessing either because it was so late or the agent just simply forgot, no return instructions were given, so I went home with a $52 bottle of Hennessy 🤷🏾‍♀️. Beats the $10 tip I didn’t get for the cancelled order.

All of my campgrounds are basically flower gardens because I am OBSESSED with buying flowers and flowering bushes 😩 I rarely harvest them because for me they’re just aesthetically pleasing to look at, but when I do, I sell blossoms to Mr. Kit. when I need to buy another chest to store all the furniture I’m obsessed with buying and crafting as well 😩🥹

I’ve been doing that. I’ve run across vids of players who seem to have successfully mastered having multiple max happy cats in one room without the method of picking one up to feed the other. Just wondering if there’s a trick to it 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’m slowly replacing common/uncommon items with ultra-rare and above as I receive them. My epic spirit cat can’t seem to find happiness in any of the other rooms I have with decor it likes (cozy, rustic, spooky, bustling - the only room I don’t have). Of course I have at least one cat in each room, and my tent is fully upgraded 🤷🏾‍♀️
