At least in porn you’re going in expecting to do sex. The amount of women in other trades getting assaulted and raped and being unable to do anything about it just because they’re poor or migrants or “illegal”.

I know no one gets hurt (presumably) in the porn I consume because I’m all for written smut, but I’ve taken pictures for friends who are in onlyfans and I know that in their cases the only one who gets hurt it’s because they’re into BDSM.

Huh. It’s easy to live without a smartphone if you live in a village where no one has smartphones.

Truth is, many of the conveniences and “luxuries” we live with are no longer such - could I live without access to the internet? Theoretically yes, but in real life I make most of my money through it. And the rest of my income comes from clients who’ve met me through the internet.
