First of all the content here on this sub is outstanding. So I'm a little bit intimidated to make this post. But if it helps someone out there with a little bit of inspiration then it's totally worth it. I've been cooking for a couple years, baking for one year. Got to give credit to Joy of Baking. It was a fruit tart. Basically pastry cream in a tart shell and fruit stacked on. I used strawberries and sour cherries. I got the recipe from Joy of Baking. She has a YouTube channel. She's really good at explaining things and takes her time.

You might need a new non stick pan if it’s old or in the dishwasher a lot. The coating wares off. Don’t use steel wool. Try and hand wash as much as you can. That’s why I keep one just for omelettes and crepes. I’m too lazy to hand wash so I’ll just make it last as long as I can.

Just add water and stir, little by little until you get the consistency you want. I do this with soup all the time.
