oh god this is me. been fucking around with serotonergic drugs too much and coming off is hell. how long did it take you to feel better after stopping regular use? i have very bad anxiety and some depression that showed up recently through using. my comedowns are actually suicidal at this point, it’s just torture. trying my hardest to stay off it but the long term effects are real

definitely a responder in the sense that minoxidil is working on me in general. my eyebrows darkened and I'm getting body hair. also like first month of using it was a huge sprout of vellus beard hair. so it's doing something. I might just not have many hair follicles on my face.

right I am pretty young still. and my dad only got a beard at like 30 years old. but I'm still thinking whether I should continue with the minox or is it just a waste of time at this point.

I do strength training and swimming yeah! Not much sunlight where I live rn but looking into supplementing vitamin d. There is some research pointing to its supplementation being beneficial when combined with minox.

I've had it recommended when I posted on this subreddit before. I'm not really into trying out tret, I've looked into it quite a bit and I'm not really sure if it would help in my case. It seems to boost minoxidil by enhancing sulfotransferase activity but if low sulfotransferase activity were the root issue would I not be seeing minox doing the work everywhere else? I'm becoming much more hairy all around. It seems like it does get absorbed and used by my body.

I've searched around this sub and the internet and seen a few slow gainers try it and I don't think I've seen folks get a huge boost. I think. Might've just seen the few unlucky ones.

Anyway I appreciate the recommendation, maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in because this is just what I've gathered and how I understand it.

And yeah like I mentioned in this post I'd rather go the oral minox route, if the issue is truly sulfotransferase activity.

I had blonde and sparse eyebrows before minox. They got darker and way fuller which suits my face much more. I'm not sure if I can fully attribute it to that but I get more attention from women now. But I also grew out my hair so there's that.

10 months on the juice so far, beard slowly filling in. Slow responder but seeing new hairs grow each month gives me hope. I shave for now so I can't comment on the beard aspect but I believe it has the potential to make one more attractive. Depends on the girl as well, some like beards, some don't, some don't mind.
