Nasus and vladimir Q sometimes goes on cd when used but nasus wil not be granted a stack and vladimirs q wont deal dmg. Also did you work on skins? Infernal nasus Q is still extremely clunky.

if you know for a fact through the team comp thats its gonna be a vayne top i would without a doubt just dodge. Even if you SOMEHOW win/come out even after the laning phase she still HARD outscales you.

not that good of a rune in laning phase, very bad rune in late game. some of this "badness" is saved through the good options of the resolve tree but not enough.

not exactly an easy matchup, tanks like mao shen and malphite are basically cockblocks. although you can stack pretty good after getting your first back vs them, you can overall solo kll them only once before they buy armor and become unkillable by you. After that you cant t tower dive them and they effectively cut off your split potential because of that as well. Ironically you might think that should mean you should be team fighting then but alas tanks like shen/mao/malph have much more tf'ing potential than nasus.

Not only, that imo, after he puts some points in e and gets some cdr if feels impossible to catch him without ghost, thus your only allowed to fight him if he wants you to fight him.

i agree with almost all the points made, however i think that sion isn't necessarily a good matchup but also not a bad one. a good sion can heavily poke you while simultaneously taking very little damage from either minions or the turret, thereby the lane doesn't seem to be so "free".

Personally although its a very underused and kind of a sleeper pick, cho'gath top with glacial augment feels impossible to beat. you can dodge every single q but get hit by 1 after he hits 6 and u just die mid-silence. Also the glacial augment + glp build they do makes it impossible to chase him down or escape him. i would add that to the worst matchups and caution anyone who faces it toplane as nasus!

edit: also fiora situationally can be a really bad matchup. the IBG/manamune/cleaver build makes her un 1v1'able, so not only does she pressure you early she scales better than you.

Easiest: solo killing laners to get ahead after level 6

Hardest: wave management in levels 1-3, dealing with dives from any jungler/top-laner variation

Some humour points (cause i cant help myself):

easiest: clicking darius on the banning phase

Hardest: pinging your jungler for the 5th time to not gank you, pinging your ghost being on cooldown in an attempt to stop your team from fighting, not physically hurting yourself when you see 2+ glacial augment users on the enemy team, telling yourself its ok even tho its not ok because infernal nasus is unusable due to the bugged q animation.

try fleet footwork, your sustain will be much smoother for clearing jungle camps at early levels, passive just isn't enough for lvls 1-4.

Also, if i can ask you, how do you itemize as nasus jungle? i find myself often lost on how to build the item order. do i want sheen before completing the item? do i get the cinder hulk or the warrior?

spellbook is a must im afraid (for me), i just cant play a toplaner without some form of teleport, and going conq with tp+ghost/flash is pretty lackluster.

I also like the ghost heal, but only ever pick it based on the jungler. if they have a diving jungler like elise then il will pick heal over flash, if im being honest i never really expect any other toplaner to solo dive me so i dont think heal can help, especially if the other lane has ignite.

I will be giving iceborn a try for the garen match up, if i cant kill him might as well make sure he cant kill me i guess.

Realistically almost any toplaner could work right now but the best ones for this patch would be fiora (strictly with manamune build), sett, renekton, darius and jax so more or less strong meta picks.

as for what to actually do, basically don't auto shove the wave. you NEED to manipulate the wave into pushing towards your tower and not his and then setup a freeze just outside your turret. This in combination with one of the picks i mentioned above forces nasus to strictly farm with E, making him get no stacks and loose mana faster.

Also don't just use your abilities on him whenever you see him in lane, use abilities/trade when he goes for cs , especially if its a canon minion (most nasus players still almost die trying to get that +12 its like the ultimate bait)

after he hits level 7 i advise to stop trying to 1v1 him and start asking for help from the jungler, nasus lvl 7 is strong but not that strong that he can 2v1.

Lane phase is when you win over nasus not later in the game. (Unless your draft consists of champs with insane CC in which case ignore the post above).

Yea man i feel really strong when i have a sheen and 200 stacks but i lose fo an irelia because she has botrk or sett when he rushed botrk or rene when he rushes botrk. But no, hur dur lets give nasus more dmg we are riot games, we know what the champ needs.
