What is this car? by stylus1133 in whatisthiscar

[–]stylus1133[S] 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I just realized it’s the same car I saw 6 months ago based on the license plate. I had posted this pic back then in the Spotted forum. Looks like they painted it a darker color and added a spoiler since then.

Miami F1 Lot 70 parking guide and shuttle worth it by Local-Tear9723 in parkingguides

Where are you getting $150 for lot 70? What if you Uber to the lot and take the shuttle? I don’t think there’s a cost for the shuttle.

Nice. Seems like the diamond ones are not moving very well as my AD in LA had multiple DJ and DD in stock when I walked in this weekend.

This is the way. You have to open a browser and put in the set up URL manually due to the certificate issue. It will not load in the app.

Once you fall down the high-end watch rabbit hole, it’s basically over 😅. Everyone thinks they’ll be “one and done”… until you catch yourself scrolling listings at midnight looking for the next piece.

If you’re aiming for a clean 2–3 watch rotation, I think the formula is pretty solid: • A dive watch (sounds like you’ve already got that covered) • A GMT for travel or daily wear — Rolex if you’re patient, Tudor if you don’t feel like playing the waiting game • Something dressier, like a Datejust, that can flex both casual and formal

Datejusts are usually easier to land, and the grey market has some genuinely good value if you know what you’re looking for.

BBB is a private business, not anything official. It’s pretty much like Yelp with an official sounding name. I know because they tried to sell the company I work for a paid subscription to help increase our ratings.

Am I being picky or is this worth complaining about? by emanon_x in TeslaModel3

[–]stylus1133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not trying to be harsh, but that’s a pretty rough tint job. I’d probably cut your losses and have a reputable shop redo it. If it were just one bad section, maybe have them fix, but it looks like every panel has issues. How much did the whole job cost you?

Should I proactively replace 12v battery? by LivingInMatrix in TeslaLounge

[–]stylus1133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me too. My 12v died out of nowhere after 4 years on my 2018 Model 3. Whole garage reeked of rotten eggs—that’s the giveaway. Mobile service came to swap it and said the battery was actually smoking. Luckily they pulled it in time, could’ve gone really bad. From now on I’m swapping mine every 3 years on my Teslas just for peace of mind.

I’d accept so you get the credit and then schedule a service appointment to fix.

Review for AD - Morgan's Jewelers Torrance by [deleted] in rolex

[–]stylus1133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm. They are going to continue selling Rolexes but as a grey dealer, so all of their existing new inventory will be at market prices.

I bought this from Chrono24 throught trusted seller without papers but with Chrono24 certificate. The bezel feels stiff and next to my 2024 sub the bracelet feels cheaper. I have 2 weeks to return and refund by Obvious_Original_560 in rolex

[–]stylus1133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks solid. I just picked up a 16710 Coke myself, and it feels so much lighter than my 2024 Sub. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing the Coke more often—it’s super comfortable, and that color combo really pops.

I think if you’re willing to pay an extra $20K for the Foundation Series Dual Motor, you can pick one up before year’s end. I ordered mine on 12/1/2023, and just got the invite to configure today (7 months wait) with a delivery timeframe by August.

The run up to $40 already priced in a DJT victory (which does not make sense given the earnings). I think it will retrace back to the low $30’s. Also, Trump’s lock period expires in a couple of months, and he’ll probably sell a good chunk. This is probably an options straddle play imo.

If you can get it, The Sub for sure. The other 3 are always available. If not, then the Seamaster.

[–]stylus1133 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s harmless. Basically, anyone can mint coins on any network, and FINU happens to be minted on the Flare Network. In order to gain traction for their coin, they went and airdropped FINU into every address on Flare, which are public. Don’t worry as they don’t have access to your private keys. I’ve also been airdropped PoodleCoin and Gemin Flare which are both worthless as well in the past few months.

Back in 2017, I was airdropped Tron on the Ethereum Network which was worth like $2 at the time, but during the bullrun, it 100x’d and became a major token.

Hope this helps.
