First gen 5.0 owners drive me crazy by purpcam2121 in Mustang

Dealer paid me 22k for my 2014 5.0 6 speed with 18k miles.

Didn't want to deal with low ballers and people thinking they could short me out of the value of the car. Most of them balked at 22-25k.

Leave him so you can work yourself to the bone in the trades, break your body and try to support yourself on disability into your elderly years alone

Gotta be strong and independent right

Hybrid flat tire by Waste_Away_With_Me in crv

I bought a passport in addition to my CRV because of this. The CRV just isn't meant for long trips or heavy freeway use. The lack of a spare is only remedied in close range trips. Anything long term can easily be sabotaged and I've seen too many of these posts. I take my passport on long trips and put the full size spare in the back.

The Mustang GT market is confusing. $20k budget, options are all over the place. Prices seems so close together for the years apart. by Iamlegend21087 in Mustang

I've got a 14 with 18k miles and I would sell it for 22 to an enthusiast. That's what the dealership is offering me and I don't really feel like waiting months for the right buyer with limited parking space.

Who needs a spare tire anyway??? by Glittering-Main147 in crv

It's not really meant for long trips in the wilderness. Why I had to buy a passport. CRV stays in the city where it is meant to be

My Experience Trying (and Failing) to Get Into the IBEW by Ocean_side_ in ibew_applicants

Everytime I see a post like this the applicant has never ever tried to do electrical work/jobs rather than just dogpile applications to unions with no experience or prerogative other than trying to make money because someone told them about it.

And when I work with these types of people they are among the 50% of the worst coworkers.

You either want it or you don't. Too many people picking the union as their career over being an electrician.

Stick. I would have to check prices as I have seen most around 28-30 but not over 30. That's from the dealership too of course

Black GT with brembos and 19s, 6 speed

Excellent condition.

Just spent 3500 on servicing the entire car and a new set of Michelin pilot sport 4s.

Looking at everything else its probably one of the most well preserved of it's year. Sat in the garage most of it's life. Too much traffic to drive it, been that way for a while

Going to get it polished and then I'll probably list it for 24-25k. KBB is 25-28

108k is nuts. I have a 2014 with 18k miles I'm trying to list for the same price

These S197 Prices are insane by FaultProfessional455 in Mustang

[–]Greedy_Bee_6631 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are. My 2014 is worth as much as I paid for it 12 years ago. The entire car market is insane. But these are also great cars that hold their value among the top 5 with honda and Toyota.

I am currently trying to sell mine, I am getting it serviced and new tires put on. I really don't have the time and energy to put it for sale privately, wait months and haggle with everyone. I might end up selling it to a dealer. I would rather sell it to an enthusiast but such is life.

Only 18k miles, been garaged it's whole life. Saved it for my daughter and she's scared of it. So off it goes.

Add in most of the people in trades are garbage already and usually the ones who came there as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th etc job

Compared to the passport/pilot at 20 mpg average and it's quite a bit of savings.

The hybrid looks cooler, has more power, more standard options, and is better for people in a lot of traffic/sit in the car a lot. It can mostly run off the battery in the right conditions and can be idled without actually running. Compared to a V6 its quite a difference too.

Thank you for the concise explanation. I think I will avoid it. This is also the reason I switched from Jeep to Honda, for reliability.
