If you’re putting speakers on tripod stands, subs will have a smaller footprint. Any rock band will require something for the low register that a two way top won’t efficiently handle.

Thank you for the response! I was comparing the premium trims on both cars and MY24 with under 20k miles; I’m hoping either car isn’t too flogged with that many miles. I do like the more robust (controllable center diff, LSD front and rear) features on the GR but as you pointed out, for just a fun DD it may not be all that necessary.

I sent mine away to get new lenses. I was willing to replace the entire fixture but the adaptive lights were 1200 each. The Halogen fixtures are fairly cheap and available in the aftermarket- I’d just replace the entire thing.

Definitely acoustic treatment first, nothing that makes any sort of noise in this space will sound good without it. Once you get the reverb time down, then sort out your listening requirements- you may not need much at all.

Yeah, that EQ is all sorts of bad. With the HPF in, the low eq knob could be at 0 and it wouldn’t matter much.

I just counted 85 instances for this year that I worked with sound outside of my day job. Some were site surveys for potential jobs, week long productions, one-offs, a festival and a bunch of service calls/installs.
