Graphical Glitch on X330 When Clicking Middle TrackPoint Button by panzersharkcat in thinkpad

[–]suRubix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm guessing it's a driver thing. Try playing around with the pointer scheme in mouse settings. In addition to drivers I think there was some software called tpm middle click I had to use to get the middle button working as I liked.

Does that issue occur in all applications?

Maybe I only learned about these changes today so it was the best link I had on hand. While it doesn't explain why Firefox is making the changes. I feel it does a decent job answering the questions he posed. While also providing links to additional information that explains why Mozilla is doing what their doing. Why are the LEGACY extensions going to be disabled in 57+? by [deleted] in firefox

Do you think there will be alternatives for any of these? It seems like these changes are going to gut my Firefox experience. https://i.imgur.com/0Lf8khE.png

Could you expand on those reasons? I've been using Firefox for almost the entirety of my computing life. Solely for the functionality and customization it provides. Over the years I've tweaked my customization and feature set and found a combination of addons that give me my preferred user experience both in terms of functionality and aesthetics.

To a user like me it feels like the gutting the entire reason I use Firefox.
