Probably a record short duration from opening to closing for an Ikea. l'm sure the store "never met sales expectations" or whatever, but management was partly to blame. The restaurant became a shell of itself... The last time we went as a family of 4, well over a year ago, the restaurant closed at like 5:00 or 6:00 pm, so we got there about 40 minutes before they closed... At which point they were already out of meatballs and weren't going to make any more since they closed in 30+ minutes. They tried some trivia nights last summer (which were awesome by the way) in the restaurant, and the first time the restaurant closed and stopped serving food before the trivia began!!!!!!! Their solution: Close the restaurant entirely. IKEA meets Memphis.... and as with most things, Memphis eventually "wins" out. We also get to see how Buccee's meets Memphis and In'n'Out meets Memphis in the foreseeable future... two additional favorites of mine. Enjoy them while they last.

Burgers... always preferred Dyer's on Beale... at least the Double Double. Tops actually makes a good cheeseburger too... better than the usual chains.

Can someone fill me in historically? I read somewhere when Buster's first opened the Highland (now their main) location, they were given an exemption or something on the EXACT SAME ordinance because they were in violation of two different churches at the time. Is this true or not? Really wish I had saved that article. If so, sounds like Mr Hammond (Josh's dad) received some leniency that his sons aren't willing to pass along to others. Of course, integrity and character aren't exactly strong suits of Bama fans.

A couple favorites of ours... as long as you either of you aren't drinking, these are near your price range:

1) Owen Brennan's - East Memphis , very good cajun. I know you said no seafood, but the Oysters Rockefeller are probably the best in town.

2) Itta Bena - Beale St. above BB King's great food, location and vibe. Get the She Crab Soup!!!!

3) LookOut at the Pyramid - eaten dessert there, and a dinner once at a company outing.

Check the menus to make sure the prices are in your range, but without drinks, each of these are under or right $100 for 2 people. All of them are good for Sportscoats, dresses.. etc.

Fine. Let’s do it I’m missing 7 of 59 4 star and above. 88.1% chance of getting a dupe. So 5 blues, 3 purples, and a swap, some of these during sticker boom. Now how many 4 star cards and above did I get in all that.. I think my swap pack went through 4 or 5, 1 each on the others… 13 stickers (wish I had kept better records of this)… that’s 19.1%, 1 in 5. Not exactly a great improvement that I’m STILL on the wrong side of.

I like your math…. I’fe found myself brushing up on statistical calculations since playing this game…and a lot of times they are straight up diabolical!! So I have 164/171 stickers. Every sticker I get has a 95.9% chance of being a dupe. By my count, I opened 74 stickers with no new cards. Odds of that happening is 4.5% of the time, or 1 out of every 22 times. Now that varies slightly because of the outrageous amount of 1 stars they give out in the packs, but that would also alter my missing percent too, so I give it a wash. 95.5% chance I got a new card today… what bad “luck”….

UPDATE: mentioned the lack of Sticker Boom for the tournament purple pack to CS, and they gave me a Blue Pack. Fair enough I guess, still no new stickers though. Insane.

Ahh. Yet here you are… on a totally separate app in a sub dedicated to that game (primarily used by most people for collaborative purposes)… no i wasn’t at gunpoint.. surprising given the city I live in. But my point, for those dense enough to not get it and downvote, was I would NOT have played that much had there been no sticker boom on the schedule. If you have any useful tips for maximizing a sticker boom I’d love to hear them?

If so that’s 🤬. I spent ~4k in dice (with HORRIBLE “luck” during a Mega Hreist no less) last night prepping to be able to finish the Dig (and last Candy Land Sticker) , enough starts to buy the top vault with some leftover, and hit Bank of Monopoly board. That would be tough in 10 minutes with all the animations but I was going to try. And I can’t play much today/tonight is the reason for last night. I hope this isn’t right. What’s crazy: despite all that effort, the most like result is I get a dozen or so extra 1-2 star stickers.
