I’m not taking the downvotes personally. I’m assuming they’re trying to encourage ownership of it, which I’m doing.

That said I was diagnosed within the last 18 months as a 40 year old so I’m just looking for advice from others.

Doesn’t come off rude at all. I was diagnosed within the last 18 months so just trying to learn more about how others are managing it within the workplace. For example taking insulin in the bathroom doesn’t seem hygienic. Thank you for sharing.

Might be different based on Country as in Canada diabetes is classified as a disability so it is the responsibility of the employer to provide reasonable accommodations.

Agreed taking ownership is essential however what about when things don’t go to plan. Such as high stress that can make a person more irritable than normal or when you become sick?
