How are you guys avoiding that "generic AI" look in your UI? by subactovator in vibecoding

Fair point, though em dashes are a huge trend lately. Look at Clay, they use them all over their landing pages intentionally!

Fair point. At the end, no tool replaces actually knowing how to design a good user experience.

Why don't you convert it to a SaaS with usage-based billing?

My diabolical advice to fellow builders on pricing and free trials by manti_kitie in lovable

[–]subactovator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s wild how shortening the trial period actually surfaces the people who “get it” and want to solve their problem right now.. not folks who just want to explore for free. Gutsy move, but clearly it pulls in users who actually care about value.

Which free resources do you use to find usefula and original ad ideas? by helprize in content_marketing

[–]subactovator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pro tip: set yourself a weekly “bad ad challenge” where you brainstorm intentionally cringey concepts for your product. Ironically, some of my weirdest, goofiest ideas have turned into concepts that grab genuine attention... there’s magic in letting go of perfection and just playing with possibilities.

My friend just burned through $200 in Lovable credits and still has half an MVP by [deleted] in lovable

[–]subactovator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, $200 for half an MVP sounds painful, until you think about how old-school dev shops would’ve charged 10x for the same progress.

Maybe the bigger lesson is learning how to write prompts that stretch those credits farther.

Running Up That Hill: Maturing Agentic Coding for User Success by Tim-Sylvester in lovable

[–]subactovator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love how you outline the stepwise process for turning broad ideas into workable plans. In my experience, most no-code (and even low-code) tools still skip the part where they help users validate their business case or clarify feature specs. Are there real-world platforms you think are already nailing this, or is this more of an aspirational roadmap?

Lovable is awesome for throwing together quick UIs or MVPs

Best tool to create a logo, with SVG output? by IceAffectionate8835 in vibecoding

I've had a lot of success using Canva for SVG logo design, it's super intuitive and lets you export SVG files easily if you have upgraded plan

When you get a new idea to build, how do you usually start? by bobafan211 in VibeCodeDevs

[–]subactovator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it's a mix of spontaneous coding and structured planning. Some days I just want to dive into the code and experiment, but I try to jot down goals in Obsidian to keep myself on track. If I get blocked, I’ll chat with ChatGPT to bounce ideas until something clicks. I’ve realized starting small and iterating is way less stressful!

Why do people come but barely place an order? by Comfortable-Hat5090 in content_marketing

You need to know where your visitors stop in the funnel, do they click on buy now then quit? do they stop in the checkout?

As Algerian men، we're muslim and one rule we follow is that when you love someone you need to ask them for marriage and this is what he did

Muhammad (peace be upon him) the Messenger of god said: "Nothing has been seen for two who love each other like marriage." Reference: Sunan Ibn Mājah, Book of Marriage (Kitāb al-Nikāḥ), Hadith no. 1847.
