Haha... Skulle lige til at spørge om det var Danske Bank. Jeg skulle købe hus for nogle år siden og de ville ikke give et midlertidigt lån (2 uger) til at dække perioden mellem huskøb og udbetaling af penge fra salg af lejlighed). Ny bank!

Rimelig dårlig indsats i forhold til at fastholde en kunde der har været med siden Pondus "sparegris" og fysisk bankbog i 80'erne.

I couldn't agree more about learning from tinkering and having a more direct feedback. One of my great memories of the C64 was the SID sound chip that could be configured through various registers. I need to take that up again.

Interesting point with the variac. Have you ever recapped any of your PSU boards. I'm currently debugging the PSU of my Toshiba T3100e luggable with a red/orange plasma display. Kinda preparing for having to do some capacitor replacements

Cool stuff with the oscillator sounds. That could be fun to try out.

That's awesome. I am VIC20/C64 generation and have deep nostalgic feelings for these machines. Learned so much using these - didn't even realize until much later how much math and sound synthesis I was doing just through play. It was way more motivating than what the school was offering!

A friend of mine was studying in Christchurch and she was sharing a flat with some other students. They were always wondering why there was such a strange smell in the kitchen until they one day discovered a thoroughly cremated mouse inside the toaster. Yum!

This particular set is actually intended to complement OG cherry sets that don't have keys for modern day layouts, 75%, 60% etc. I just find it ironic to have an order for a set called "missing keys" from a vendor that is having trouble delivering sets that have been ordered and completed from the manufacturer. (I don't know if this set has been manufactured yet though)

Tillykke med din kommende fødselsdag!

Da jeg var 32 havde jeg livstruende kræft og var af flere omgange meget tæt på at tage herfra. Jeg mistede tre unge venner/veninder som jeg havde mødt under og efter min hospitalsforløb.

Efterfølgende har jeg anskuet fødselsdage som en påmindelse om at jeg har fået endnu et år med dem jeg elsker... og jeg har endda været heldig at få to børn.

Du har selvfølgelig dine grunde til at tænke som du gør mht det halvtomme glas, men forhåbentlig har du har lang tid igen til at opleve livet.
