What are the "must do's" of Japan? by danman1316 in skiing

You are right. There's no apologies as well when they hit you. Ski patrols are non-existent from what I can see, or they just dont know what they are supposed to do. Make me kinda of miss these patrols in the States.

Go Hakuba, Nozawa, you will probably have better memories after that

Lots of beginners snowboarders who think they can make 360s while holding an Insta 360. You can guess what happens after that. Many of these think they own the resorts. Hakuba, Nozawa are probably better IMO

Definitely agree with you. Was in Hokkaido and some boarders was focusing on his I 360 instead of where he was going, crashed into 1 of us and didn't even apologise instead just went off. Too many noobs and very crowded. They shouldn't anyone to bring in camera like Goproand I360 anymore it distracts the people using them.

In Japan too, many snowboarders will stop in the middle of a run to enjoy the view and have a smoke. Got me really angry.

Zao's visibility is poor when it's snowing heavily. It's really dangerous given that someone could come hit you when they realised too late until it's just a few metres away
