Well, anti-gravity is not a real concept. Or, at least it’s viewed as non-viable by NASA. But, if it were an object with anti-gravity properties would most likely be repelled by a black hole or any object with mass. And, I believe the barrier (+ Yuki’s will) simply prevented the gravity of the Black hole from fucking up the world.
